I’m 30, and the Mentally Sick Physically Thick Vintage T-Shirt Besides,I will do this obvious answers to me are the Yankees and Dodgers. Hats and jerseys have remained consistent, and you see them as streetwear constantly. One could make an argument for the Braves and Cardinals too (ty OutKast and Nelly, respectively). On the other hand, there are teams that are extremely popular, like the Red Sox and Mets, but I don’t think I would necessarily call them “cool.” Am I missing any teams? Braves I’ve seen once or twice thoughYeah the hat is extremely clean (the throwbacks are sick too), and Wiz Khalifa definitely gave it a cultural bump among my age cohort in high school haha.One of the best actors of all time and hammer pants. You’re on to something.The gothic D is very recognizable. I live in the Detroit area and while I’m not a Tigers fan, it’s cool how prevalent it is.It’s all over Europe lol. I think people just see it as NY = American = cool, a lot of them probably don’t even realize it’s the Yankees logo. Retail clothing stores sell Yankees and Dodgers hats to women for fashion. Most of their customers have probably never been to a baseball game.The Yankees ‘NY’ logo is one of the most recognizable brands in the world.…I not saying this cuz I’m an asshole Yankees fan, I’m saying it cuz it’s the gods honest truth. I think it helps that they’ve been consistently good for so long too. Older millennials will have grown up through that dynasty, and even though they haven’t won a WS in awhile, they’ve still been good pretty much every year. I think there was just a period in the 80s where they weren’t great?Correct. As it stands, the Yankees last losing season was 1992. Outside of 2014-2016, they’ve been contending too. I’m a little horrified of a losing season since it’s literally never happened in my life.Was in Mexico a couple of weeks ago. Pretty much the only hats I saw Dodgers and Yanks. Almost every Yanks had was worn by a woman and similar for Dodgers and men. I think I saw 2 other team hats being wornOnly time you see Orioles gear is on a fan pretty much. People don’t like orange. I think our uniforms are pretty sleek, just not nearly as casual to wear bright orange as it is to wear red, white, blue, and black.

I still regularly wear my O’s hat, 99% of the Mentally Sick Physically Thick Vintage T-Shirt Besides,I will do this people I chat with wearing Orioles anything are fans/usually have roots in Maryland/DC. The Red Sox are cool in Boston. As a childhood White Sox fan who only ever saw people wearing Cubs merch, all the White Sox answers here are wild. The 2005 World Series was the least watched, like, ever. And no one likes Comiskey. Dude the Angels are super regional. I rarely see their hats in LA county. But goddam do you see people rocking their hats, jerseys and tattoos in Orange County and Riverside.If you can picture Carrie Bradshaw or David Beckham in a team’s gear, then it’s fashionable for sure. LAD & NYY as global icons fit that bill. Definitely not ‘cool’ though, IMO, but everyone’s mileage varies.Living in Central Florida. I probably see 100 Yankees hats to every one Mets hat.
