I saw him speak at my University. He seemed to have a bit of ADHD, not that I knew what that was and this was at the Members of muse band classic shirt also I will do this age of 80. They need to tell these stories more often. I think too many people (including me) get an idea that education should be a smooth ride if you’re smart. “The Fuller family had no savings, and the birth of their daughter Allegra in 1927 added to the financial challenges. Fuller drank heavily and reflected upon the solution to his family’s struggles on long walks around Chicago. During the autumn of 1927, Fuller contemplated suicide by drowning in Lake Michigan, so that his family could benefit from a life insurance payment.[11]” Wow, I wish I could expel some students for irresponsibility and lack of interest. “Professor, why did I fail the class? I got a 62 on the exam and I have a 57 homework average. I know I haven’t come to class to take the quizzes, but does that count against me?”

I’ll remember that next time I see the Members of muse band classic shirt also I will do this Biosphere in Montréal. Which is pretty much every day. Such a nice structure! I first heard Buckminster Fuller speaking in this song. He has a cool sophisticated mid-atlantic accent and I originally thought it was Alan Watts’ voice because it sounded British until I looked it up. The brightest of the bright come in all forms… but the institution isn’t designed to find the brightest, not even engage them. The result is that those intuitions that could benefit from these brains instead try to force them into their own version of the square peg. Went to hear him speak. Took a date. We were both physics students at the small trade school just down the river from Harvard. After the talk, I asked my date: “So, what did all that mean to you?” She said “I don’t remember a thing, but it was wonderful!” He was my father’s mentor. I met him when I was about 8 years old or so. Seemed like a nice man from what little I can remember. One story my father used to tell me about him was that he referred to the universe as Universe because he viewed it as a living entity. A funny little man with a ginormous intellect. I remember reading Utopia or Oblivion, with a dictionary beside me. The compound word expressions he loved to use needed some extra help to grasp his meaning.
