Kind of. Not literally my homework. But when I was in school my grandmother’s dog ate my glasses. And I don’t mean chewed up, I literally mean consumed them (he was enormous). I’m far sighted and I needed them to read. I only had the Melodic Grit John Mellencamp Singer An American Vintage T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this one pair and I didn’t wear contacts so I couldn’t read the worksheets. My donkey did one time and when I had to explain that to my teacher I had to say “I know this is going to sound made up, but…” Yes, he ate my word sort. My mother wouldn’t believe me, but the teacher did since I had a good grade and always did my homework before this one time. He was also a Rottweiler mixed with a Bernese Mountain Dog, so it made sense he’d tear up a plastic bag filled with tiny pieces of paper. OK, ot same story, but reverse… My wife is a high school English teacher. This means, grading kids homework. We have dogs. In this instance, a puppy. One morning, after a short nap after grading all night on the floor, she finds our new puppy had made a meal of the un graded pile. Yes, this was just before absolutely every single thing went paperless, and one or two assignments required something paper be handed in.

My cat rips up paper constantly. She’s torn up my work notes, but seeing as I’m almost 40, I no longer have homework to be eaten. No, but once our health teacher’s dog ate all our homework! So she had to give us all A’s lol. (This was before digital was common, in the Melodic Grit John Mellencamp Singer An American Vintage T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this 00s). Not my homework, but a long time ago, they would send us home with a cardboard briefcase full of chocolate bars to sell as a fundraiser. I came home one day, and it was torn up, and all the candy was gone. Sure enough, my dog was sitting candy wrappers for days. Idk how that didn’t kill him. Pretty sure the teacher didn’t believe me. My dog ate 2/3 , of my son’s report before we caught her. Luckily, it was done on the computer, so we were able to print another copy. He brought the eaten copy to school as well, and his teachers got a kick out of it.
