I’m from Ontario too and my parents had a messy divorce way back when I was a kid. The judge mandated that I go to therapy once a week for (I can’t remember but it was quite a few times) maybe 2-3 months. It was group therapy and then one on one. The judge wanted to assess my feelings and memories of the Mele Kalikimaka Santa Getaway Christmas Shirt in other words I will buy this home situation. The therapist reported back (all above board, my parents knew that the therapist notes would become evidence in their custody war. So basically, the therapist assessed how I felt about my mom, my dad, whether there was abuse, etc. They also observed how I interacted with each parent, one on one. Ultimately, they were able to determine whose side was truthful. If your ex wife’s therapist is able to enter her session notes and her opinion, based solely on phone appointments, then you need to do the same. And you need to get your lawyer to argue that your children should be assessed, thru therapy (quite frankly it was probably a good thing that I had therapy – not only to determine which parent was truthful but also for my own well-being). A court appointed therapist would no doubt be able to determine whether there was abuse in the home. If your ex-wife is manipulative and tells lies to children, doctor, friends etc etc in order to gain sympathy and support while dragging your reputation and your relationship with your children they the mud, your children will no doubt have experienced it too. And a therapist who’s experienced in custody cases will be able to suss that out.

have your lawyer find a way to get the Mele Kalikimaka Santa Getaway Christmas Shirt in other words I will buy this judge to recommend court appointed therapist for your kids in order to find the truth between all the lies. find out how your ex-wife came to be seeing that particular therapist. A friend of a friend of a friend? I’ve never come across a therapist who we’ll come to a determination of domestic abuse without actually meeting face to face. That to me is unheard of. I know covid and all that but therapists were holding sessions over zoom. There’s something fishy about that therapist and her ethics. I would for sure do some digging. And how often did she see the therapist, how many times for how long, how much were the sessions (high quality therapist is $250/hr, $180-200/hr is an average). If the therapist is able to bring what your wife has told her into the court as facts, then wouldn’t the therapist’s notes have to be disclosed? I mean without that, how can it be substantiated?!
