Better funding our foster care system to ensure among many other things that thousands of foster kids aging out of care do not end up homeless like they currently do I’m sure there are dozens of other things the Meet me at the drivein tour billy strings shirt and by the same token and GOP should support if they are so pro life but supporting any one of these things gets you called a communist by so called pro lifers. Feel free to add more below because I know I’m missing a lot. For me, the biggest thing is that if you really wanted to prevent abortions, you’d take a hardline stance supporting mandatory, early, comprehensive sex education, and free, no questions asked access to birth control & contraceptives. Those are the things that reduce unwanted pregnancies and abortions. Even if abortion were illegal, even if we arrested people for having them, that would still be true. People would still have abortions, just unsafe ones, and so if you honestly, seriously want to reduce the number of aborted fetuses, that’s what you’d support.

Instead the Meet me at the drivein tour billy strings shirt and by the same token and conservatives are always the ones opposed to that. I say I support sex education, I’m called a groomer. I say I support free birth control, I’m called a dirty rotten communist. They’ll go on and on about how small government should know everything about you if you’ve got a uterus and haul you off to jail for known biological processes beyond your control, but then say that a few bucks for some rubbers and pills is government overreach. In other words, they are objectively fine with aborted fetuses if it means they get to control people. If it’s a choice between more control and more aborted fetuses, or less control and less aborted fetuses, they’ll consider those fetuses acceptable collateral damage. Abortion is murder when they want it to be and also acceptable when they want it to be.
