Well obviously you arnt dashing any more so they had to replace you and instead of trying to find a decent person they target people that purposely fuck the Mayhem estd 1969 animals baseball shirt besides I will buy this job up. It blows my mind. Currently dashing, and am a customer as well. I rarely have any issues and haven’t gotten the “tip guilt” yet. Like I can’t imagine asking anyone for more money. I text all my customers to let them know I’m on the way and ETA, but then that’s it. If the customer doesn’t have the app downloaded (end up a legit text instead of message app) I send them another text once dropped off just to let them know. I don’t knock or ring the doorbell unless asked, in case there are babies sleeping or protective and loud dogs. I’m a dasher ninja Idk what my point is, aside from agreeing with you.

Bad economy and people needing money = more lower quality people doing jobs that were mean to be a supplement to a main job or independent workers that wanted to own their time (honestly its the Mayhem estd 1969 animals baseball shirt besides I will buy this reason i left sidegigs and went back to working a normal more peaceful job) Between inflation and dashers expecting a tip before service is rendered it doesn’t surprise me that they’re getting a bad rep. You don’t see 10,000 karma posts on the front page saying “I had a good day today and earned good tips”. It’s only the horrible stories If they quit hiring anyone that had a car and can walk, the app would be better. They would hiring a 50 year old smoker with a beat down 2006 toyota with over 300k miles to drive these days. So those kinds of people got customers thinking all deliveries come with an extra of second hand smoke and dog hair
