meh crabs and lobsters are (in my mind) like giant spiders and scorpions and I have zero sympathy for those assholes… Crabs are cold heartless survival machines that will eat their own mothers/babies alive like its nothing. In tbe ocean they are more likely to get eaten alive by their own kind so getting quickly boiled seems tame It’s so sad that people need to state that “is not vegan” when talking about animal cruelty, just because they fear to be judged yes, many people. and you will also get a lot of whataboutism if you try to reasonably explain that having a preference not to kill a living being is somehow weird. I worked at a restaurant where the Matthew Perry Death Chandler Bing Vintage shirt in addition I really love this chef STEAMED them alive at a lower temperature. So they suffered for long before they died. And he also tied a knot around their tail connected to their head so they would stay straight and not curl up while being slowly killed. Sick It also pisses me off that some people will make baseless claims that some animals don’t feel pain in order to justify cruel and likely horrifically painful ways of killing an animal just because that’s how it has always been done. Fun fact, lots of cattle have the blood vacuum inserted when they are still conscious. The bolt gun is far from 100% effective. So cows are literally having their blood vacuumed out whilst they are alive. Let us just accept the meat industry is so fuck and the only people that can change it are the consumers. Which means nothing will change cause people like cheap meats Yes, I don’t eat those but I find it barbaric. Iirc, Switzerland recently banned this and force people to numb/kill them before boiling them.

What about halal meat, or kosher meat… or the Matthew Perry Death Chandler Bing Vintage shirt in addition I really love this general dairy and meat industries? They’re all barbaric and cruel to these animals. It’s an indelible stain on mankind that we let over 20billion animals suffer and die each year just for our fucking tastebuds. Yet we claim to be “animal lovers”. Cognitive dissonance has allowed us to bring about needless pain and suffering. No. It’s not very likely they would feel or even know their lights are going out. A shark that gets gaffed by a fisherman will eat his own guts, as an example.
