Yeah you wouldn’t want to work at a place that would be so willing to fuck you over their own mistakes because they can’t get their shit together or accept fault. You dodged a bullet. You dodged a bullet there! If they’re going to pull this crap before you even start, just imagine the Matt Roy American professional ice hockey defenseman T-Shirt it is in the first place but hell they’ll put you through working there. “If you have any questions regarding your offer, please contact me with any questions you may have” is an absolute abomination of a sentence Consider this a bullet dodged since they were in no way understanding and couldn’t simply take responsibility or offer any remedy for their mistake. Would you really want to work for someone who doubles down and says you fucked up whenever you point out a mistake they made?

Their attitude to their mistake in the Matt Roy American professional ice hockey defenseman T-Shirt it is in the first place but text messages tells you that they will suck to work for, you dodged a bullet. I think companies often forget that they are also being interviewed during the process. Take this as a blessing Probably a good thing with this company, TBH- no accountability for an error that they do have control over (IT ticket, etc.) especially if impacting potential employers hiring and onboarding. Disorganization right from the start. They did you a favor, I know it doesn’t feel like one but whatever company that is, is so full of bullshit they can’t see straight. You don’t even have to click “go to offer letter until the 23rd” according to that email, so it doesn’t matter what the date listed in the offer letter is if there’s nothing forcing you to look at it until after it expires. HR here – this is an error on THEIR part and its crazy they didnt give you any type of grace and just doubled down! Everyone makes mistakes and they should have owned it even if it was an error with the system. I hope this reaches the top of the post to answer some questions, I know I haven’t gotten to alot of people because it been a busy day for me. 1: The reason why I waited so long is because I had much higher paying opportunities I was waiting to hear back from and didn’t want to be black listed from alot of companies that fall under this company’s umbrella by saying yes then quitting before I started. On Monday I texted the same guy that I was still looking over the job offer and he never mentioned it would expire the next day. I also actually opened up the offer day I received it and didn’t see a date of expiration, the only date I saw was my start date.
