I heard that during the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this Civil War, Lincoln walking around the white house, swinging his dick around, saying the south don’t know who they fucking with. Sherman was always in the back of the Oval Office lighting matches, staring at the flames. He told that to a young kid named Albert Einstein, who was so inspired by Lincoln’s words that he grew up to be the greatest basketball player in history, Michael Jordan Social media back then was just people carving their comments onto trees. It took awhile for memes to catch on outside of your particular tree. Didn’t DeSantis try to rename the Democrats citing the civil war and slavery and how democrats supported it you know… 150 some years ago? Oh, are we digging up ancestry for political points? If so, let me tell you about the best little whorehouse in Alberta Come on, the fact this is the time people got screwed the least while doing business with a Trump was right there. Interesting reading… seems not far from but not as Big as the history of Seattle but these stories are always fun to read. Thx. And here trump thought Lincoln was a good person, he’s talked about him multiple times throughout the years. Only for him to find out that Lincoln helped rig the election 100+ years later.

About this Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt
‘I just couldn’t believe it folks. There was old Honest ‘Loggy’ Abe, looking up at me with tears in his eyes, saying… no, begging really, Please forgive me Mr. Trump Sir..’ The “looking up at me” is a nice touch. He’d suddenly decide to be 6’5” just to be taller than the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this one president we think of as being especially tall. “Every new president selects personalized Oval Office decor to suit his tastes and pay homage to admired predecessors. President Biden’s Oval Office boasts both a portrait and a bust of Abraham Lincoln. But his family’s connection to the 16th president extends far beyond workplace ornamentation. On the evening of March 21, 1864, the quiet of a small corner of the Army of the Potomac’s sprawling winter camp along the Rappahannock River near Beverly Ford, Va., was disturbed when a fight broke out in one of the mess tents between Union Army civilian employees Moses J. Robinette and John J. Alexander.
The scuffle left Alexander bleeding from knife wounds, and Robinette was charged with attempted murder and incarcerated on a remote island near modern-day Florida. It would also cause an unexpected intersection in the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this histories of two American presidents, Lincoln and Biden — a story that has waited 160 years to be told. Joseph Robinette Biden’s ancestral line has long been established and lists Moses J. Robinette among his paternal ancestors hailing from western Maryland, but very little has ever been chronicled about the man. Robinette’s court-martial records, discovered at the National Archives in Washington, show how the current president’s story is intertwined with that of the man who was president at the most perilous junction in U.S. history.
In 1861, Robinette was 42, married and running a hotel near the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this Baltimore and Ohio Railroad junction at Grafton, Va. Union sentiments ran high in Virginia’s mountainous western counties, which soon broke off to form the new state of West Virginia. As the nation lurched toward armed conflict that spring, smoldering resentments against Virginia’s politically dominant slaveholding elite flared into open defiance after northwestern delegates tried to block the secession movement and were expelled from the Virginia Convention. Western Virginia became an early battleground as both sides fought to control the railroad. Union troops occupied Grafton in mid-June 1861 and drove Confederate forces out of the region within six months. The Robinette family suffered setbacks in the war’s early years: Moses’s wife, Jane, died, and his hotel was destroyed, allegedly by Union soldiers. Seeking safety for his youngest surviving children, Robinette appears to have left Virginia and returned to his extended family in Allegany County, Md.
Robinette was hired as a civilian veterinary surgeon by the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this U.S. Army Quartermaster’s Department in late 1862 or early 1863. He was assigned to the Army of the Potomac’s reserve artillery and tasked with keeping healthy the horses and mules that pulled the ammunition wagons. His qualifications for the position, as someone without formal medical training, were unstated, but such an appointment was not unusual in Civil War armies. Few veterinary colleges existed outside Europe in the 19th century, and Congress refused to authorize the creation of an official army veterinary corps until the First World War. On that March evening near Beverly Ford, Alexander, a brigade wagon master, overheard Robinette saying something about him to the female cook and rushed into the mess shanty to demand an explanation. Tempers flared, expletives followed, and Robinette drew his pocketknife. A brief scuffle left Alexander bleeding from several cuts before camp watchmen arrived to arrest Robinette.
Nearly a month passed before Robinette’s military trial began. The charges specified that he had become intoxicated and incited “a dangerous quarrel,” violating good order and military discipline. Because a drawn weapon was involved, assault with “attempt to kill” was included among the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this charges. Witnesses described Robinette as “full of fun, always lively and joking,” and testimony varied on whether either man had consumed alcohol before the fight broke out. According to the trial transcript, Robinette stated in closing “that whatever I have done was done in self defence, that I had no malice towards Mr. Alexander before or since. He grabbed me and possibly might have injured me seriously had I not resorted to the means that I did.” The military judges were not convinced. The next day, they rendered a unanimous verdict: guilty on all counts with the exception of “attempt to kill.” The punishment was two years’ incarceration at hard labor.
After his conviction, Robinette again had to wait nearly three months for his case to churn through the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this army’s bureaucratic channels. Occupied by active military operations, the commander of the Army of the Potomac, Gen. George G. Meade, did not confirm Robinette’s sentence until early July, when he was sent to the Dry Tortugas islands near Key West, Fla. The islands were home to Fort Jefferson, a giant brick structure designed to protect the southern coast and Gulf of Mexico shipping lanes. The massive increase in U.S. forces needed to fight the Civil War correspondingly ballooned the number of military trials and convictions. When mainland prison space ran short, Fort Jefferson became a military prison, one described by Lincoln’s opponents as “American Siberia.” When Robinette disembarked there, the growing prison population numbered more than 700.
Around the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this time Robinette arrived on Dry Tortugas, three army officers who knew him petitioned Lincoln to overturn his conviction. John S. Burdett, David L. Smith and Samuel R. Steel wrote that Robinette’s sentence was unduly harsh for “defending himself and cutting with a Penknife a Teamster much his superior in strength and Size, all under the impulse of the excitement of the moment.” They testified that Robinette had, from the outbreak of the war, been “ardent, and Influential … in opposing Traitors and their schemes to destroy the Government.” The letter concluded with an emotional flourish: “Think of his motherless Daughters and sons at home! … [Praying for] your interposition in behalf of the unfortunate Father … and distressed family of loved Children, Union Daughters & Union Sons.” The missive did not go straight to the White House, but first landed on the desk of Waitman T. Willey, a newly elected senator from the recently admitted state of West Virginia. He endorsed the plea, calling Robinette’s punishment “a hard sentence on the case as stated.” Lincoln’s private secretary, John G. Nicolay, promptly requested that the judge advocate general, Joseph Holt, send over a report and the trial transcripts for presidential review.
Holt’s report arrived in late August, and Lincoln made his decision, writing, “Pardon for unexecuted part of punishment. A. Lincoln. Sep. 1. 1864.” Shortly thereafter, the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this War Department issued Special Orders No. 296, freeing Robinette from prison. After more than a month on sweltering Dry Tortugas, Robinette returned to his family in Maryland, where he took up farming again. He lived into the 20th century, dying at his daughter’s home in 1903. While his brief obituary eulogized him as a “man of education and gentlemanly attainments,” no mention was made of his wartime court-martial or his fleeting connection to Abraham Lincoln. But the slender sheaf of 22 well-preserved pages of his trial transcript, unobtrusively squeezed among many hundreds of other routine court-martial cases in the National Archives, reveals the hidden link between the two men — and between two presidents across the centuries. Those few pages not only fill in an unknown piece of Biden family history, but also serve as a reminder of just how many Civil War stories have yet to be told. Alexander.*
IF YOu want a fun Lincoln story, try this one. It involves Lincoln impersonating a woman, a duel challenge with swords, and Lincoln totally stacking the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this deck because he’s a giant. “…Samuel R. Steel wrote that Robinette’s sentence was unduly harsh for “defending himself and cutting with a Penknife a Teamster much his superior in strength and Size, all under the impulse of the excitement of the moment.” It’s crazy how upset the right is getting over her. My brother is super pro Trump and says celebrities shouldn’t be allowed to voice their political opinions. I brought up the fact that plenty spoke their voice in favor for Trump and he said Tayler Swift is different cuz she has such a large following. I said it’s her first amendment right to vocally support someone, that didn’t seem to matter to him. Some republicans don’t care about other peoples rights if it suits them The first Trump to come to the US otoh was born years after this, fled his country to avoid military service, ran brothels in the US, and, of note, crossed the border mulitple times soon after immigrating (which today makes you an illegal).
Again!! More evidence of Hunter laptop within Hillary’s email and Obama’s birth certificate. Can’t wait to see the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this Fox spin on this. Why is that news? An old family friend once told me that every family has a priest, a horse thief, and a murderer if you go back far enough. Yep….President Biden’s Great, Great Grandfather proudly served in the US military as many others in the Biden family have over the generations. As for the trumps, well, no member of their family has EVER served in our military as they shamefully wear their generational badge of cowardice. A rare opportunity to share a Biden-Lincoln fun fact. Joe Biden’s date of birth is closer to Lincoln’s second inauguration than his own first one.
That’s why I’m surprised it was Biden’s great great grandfather. This event only took place like 80 years before Biden was born. True, but Moses J. Robinette was born in 1819 and was 45 at the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this time of the pardon. Being 123 years older than Joe, being his great great grandfather sounds about right. Came for the story, stayed for the hilarious commentary. Anything I could think of adding has already been done. Bravo… “They testified that Robinette(Biden) had, from the outbreak of the war, been “ardent, and Influential … in opposing Traitors and their schemes to destroy the Government.”” I’m more surprised Biden’s great great grandfather could live in the same time as Lincoln, I would assume grandfather at best. It is. But to put it in perspective, Biden’s great great grandfather was a conscripted civilian who got i. a fight with a teamster. He never knew or met Lincoln, and only received a pardon because a few of the officers he served under took the time to put in a request. Otherwise, he was a fairly unknown and unremarkable farmer. Lincoln was raised in poverty and the last surviving Lincoln through Abe died in the 80s. Hardly a ruling family Fr. I just saw a documentary about the kidnapping of children in chuckwala in the 70s and the documentary showed that in the 2010s there was a huge political push to get one offenders parole and out of prison (the offenders familt made a shit ton of money from the gold rush and owned huge swaths of land).
The film casually showed one of the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this federal judges whose name was Newsom that was advocating for the parole. This was made before his son became the governor Oh my God exactly. Or Barr’s family owning the prison that Epstein died in if i recall correctly. They seem like the most improbable coincidences. At least until it it’s realized that this class of people, upper-echelon, 1%, whatever, etc., aren’t even necessarily just plotting and scheming together—they just don’t interact, socialize, or congregate with or where the rest of us do. Like a handful of hamsters in a cage. They only interact with each other.. It makes sense, the people (white men) who got here “first” are behind almost everything up through today. They’re what people call “shadow government”, the real OG’s who run this country. Too bad he most likely deserved what he received in punishment. Who started all this pardon nonsense? It seems to me if someone is convicted of a crime by their peers they should serve the time unless new evidence is provided that shows their innocence
Came here to say this but I feel the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this death penalty is an easy way out. Have him in shackles sweeping the streets and tarring roads without footwear. India really needs to put the prison force into use for stuff besides making rotis and furniture. You know backbreaking labour work for the most serious offenders in there. Atleast aise toh roads ke potholes theek krdo. I feel you my bro.. but gotta select from what’s available right. Having said that he will be let go with hardly a slap on the wrist – even if he’s guilty. Recently was told about cricketer turned politico Navjot Sidhu. He was given an year’s rigorous imprisonment for murder. In jail he was given a munshi’s job position instead, and let go in 8 months. Law and rules are there for common man only and there is absolutely no Justice at all.
whats worse is that the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this incident happened in 1988 but he only got convicted in 2018….. iit took 30 long years to convict him only to be let out of jail after 8 months.. While I get the value of community service, we REALLY do not want to lead to the creation of ‘for profit’ prisons. I miss 2012 where the youth would actually dare to organize and storm the rashtrapati bhavan for matters like these They were all engineered protests, even though most people supported it. Protests never happen without some sort of organisation. Define organisation. Because filling in whatever paperwork is needed for a march or buying megaphones counts as organisation but doesn’t mean a thing was engineered Getting crowds of the scale that you saw there. Most people support the issue, but they don’t believe that protesting like that is going to achieve anything. Most you’re going to get is 80 people at Jantar Mantar. I swear we need to start stabbing wannabe rapists and then in court cite this bullshit when we get assault charges for self defense Everyday this country stoops to the lower Standard than a day before. Judge should be punished harshly and the victim should be compensated from the judge’s salary. Also, no pension for the judge, which comes from our tax payment. Shouldn’t be used to support the rapists!
People are really angry like this is the Marvel Thunderbolts John Walker U.S. Agent Showcase shirt and I love this first such case in india. It happened before and it will repeat until CCTV surveillance in make mandatory. If indian police have body cams, they will be sweeter than angels. Lmao, jumping into conclusions from just 1 perspective. The judge has been accused of rape not proven guilt. But let’s all jump the gun because she is a woman, and women dont lie.
