If they immediately want you to have the Marseille 2023 Iqfoil Paris 2024 Olumpic Windsurfing Host Venue shirt Besides,I will do this job, they know you can do the job. If the old boss is gone and they were paying him more money, then they can pay you more money. This is the classic move that is to hire the employee we don’t have to train for less money than the last guy. Literally everything in writing, and that whole we can’t pay you yet untill you do the work is the most bonkers bullshit I’ve ever heard. Of you are familiar with the role, and you can say that you can succeed in it then there is absolutely 0 reason not to pay you for the work. “If you are asking me to take on extra responsibility and stress and are refusing to compensate me properly I will be declining untill this job is posted publicly, at which time I will apply for it normally!” Do not sell yourself short, it sounds like they need you farm more than you need them, “opportunity to grow in the role” is just a lot of letters to say ‘free work’

Had this happen to a coworker who got moved into management role as interim manger. Told him he would get the spot if he worked for a few months without the title or pay raise. He quit and moved on cuz they never made good on it and have never replaced that position. It’s a joke. Only a fool would take the promotion without an increase in pay. Do you think you have no worth? If you take the job, you have most assuredly told them that you are weak. I would tell them as respectfully as I could that I wouldn’t do it without the pay raise. The only reason I work is for the money, why would I do MORE work for the same money? Just doesn’t make any sense.
