However, I will say strolling through the streets of the Medina in Tangier and sipping tea at one of the haunts where the likes of Jimmy Page, Ginsberg, Kerouac and others set the stage was pretty fucking cool. But I have only had poor experiences, and never hear good stories about the locals. Most of my interactions I have found them very rough, quite hostile people. Even worse if you are a woman, they are extremely misogynistic.
