Reminds me of the Maneskin logo classic shirt in contrast I will get this time that Uber had just started accepting cash in my city. The first ride I ever chose to pay in cash I just walked out of the car, since I was just used to the driver just finishing the ride in the app and charging me. Didn’t realize until a good 5 minutes later. I think the driver didn’t realize it either. A software developer was writing code for mutual fund transactions. Mutual funds can be sold to a fraction of a share. The software was supposed to truncate after three digits to the right of the decimal. He took the portion of the share that was four digits and beyond and put them into his personal account. He created shares. In the early 90’s I was working for a banking software company and mentioned this to a lead software developer. He had heard about it and said the banks we sold our software to hired third party auditors whose job was to find these types of flaws Yeah. I wouldn’t have stopped, but I wouldn’t have told any friends either or been blowing it on crap like he did. Lauder that cash and then get out of the country lmao.

I remember way back in the Maneskin logo classic shirt in contrast I will get this MUD days I discovered that whispering boss monsters a certain Unicode character would make them drop whatever item they normally dropped… repeatedly. Was totally inexplicable. It was such a rush at 14 years old though! I was rich! In this tiny MUD with like 30 regular players! I’d have so much trouble doing it. I mean.. Imagine giving up your “early retirement hack” AND turning yourself in?? 1.6Mil… I year jail. Hummmmm. Edit. Its completely a joke. People that have been to jail will tell you it’s not worth it. I had a similar thing happen to me…not on this scale though. My bank added 5s and 10s to the ATM. I went to take out 100 dollars in 5s and it gave me 20s instead. So I got $400 instead of $100 and my account only showed a withdrawl of $100. The bank wasn’t open yet but there was an employee in their car, in the parking lot. I let the employee know what happened. He couldn’t have gave any less of a shit lol. The bank never adjusted my account.
