Where have we seen the “let’s invite them over so we can kill them all at once” plan before? I recently saw a movie using that same plan but can’t remember it. So the humans, faeries, and bird folk all forget their friends got slaughtered by the other group when maleficient resurrects and are suddenly amicable? OK, I don’t know how this movie is enjoyable beyond the “Maleficent Angelina Jolie Is This Jolly Enough Christmas shirt looks pretty” factor.

Maleficent Angelina Jolie Is This Jolly Enough Christmas shirt, tank top, v neck, ladies tee

It’s kinda enjoyable in a “seriously? You’re this dumb?” factor. The HIDDEN FACTORY in the castle that Maleficent Angelina Jolie Is This Jolly Enough Christmas shirt and prince are apparently unaware of, the freaking ballet spin into a crossbow bolt instead of just DODGING, the massive massive massive massive cavern of mysterious daylight that’s apparently a hell to live in. I was laughing a lot at stuff that was not the jokes, but I do wish the movie had respected its own consequences more.

Official Maleficent Angelina Jolie Is This Jolly Enough Christmas sweatshirt, hoodie

So the humans, faeries, and bird folk all forget their friends got slaughtered by the other group when maleficient resurrects and are suddenly amicable? The most fucking retarded portrayal of genocide I’ve ever seen. Terribly cringy lines. This was even worse than Maleficent Angelina Jolie Is This Jolly Enough Christmas shirt. I have no doubt this will make hundreds of millions. Feels like direct commentary on the entire Disney remake/sequel train that they’ve been into. Intentional or not, I got a kick out of it.
