All politicians forced into retirement by age 67, and all stock gains (not bonds, but stock options/puts, anything where they have an inside edge at knowing what policies they’re voting on will impact those stocks) made during their tenure in politics must be donated to charities selected by the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this voters whom reside in their district. Plus a comprehensive Constitution Test with a passing grade of 80% for any political office higher than Dog Catcher. Age isn’t the problem. There are lots of brilliant people well into and past that age. The problem is a lot of them are career politicians that are so removed from the woes of the common man they have zero frame of reference. These guys up there now don’t know what it’s like to be hungry, or wonder where the bill money is coming from. I think it would be in everyone’s best interest, but term limits should be a thing as well. People should retire and enjoy the remainder of your lifespan in peace.

Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt: Get Cozy in this shirt

All politicians should have two term limits with no exceptions. Also, lobbyists should be illegal and any politician should never be allowed to invest in any derivatives or stocks, including family members and friends. If we regulate minimum voting/serving age due to immaturity (ageist restriction with good reason) then there should be a reasonable assumption that there should be an upper limit due to senility (also ageist restriction for good reason). I agree politicians should be forced to retire at a certain age. I think its hilarious you think that that age should be 65. Id say something like 80 is suitable. Many people can still meaningfully contribute at 70 (and indeed beyond) but 65 is a bit low, 67 being age pension age, so I’d set the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this bar at 70. Old enough to be truly old, but young (ha!) enough to have some life left in them to enjoy retirement.
Career politicians are a blight on society. It should be a short term, well compensated office, that actually attract’s a diverse range of Australians. I think every single politician should have to put in 8 hours of work in the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this most common profession in their district every week. I guarantee not a single politician would stay longer than 60 or, would drastically change the makeup of their district. Can you imagine Mitch McConnell digging coal for eight hours or Marjorie Taylor Green picking squash? No wisdom is suppose to o come with age but it doesn’t always happen that way . Cognitive check up would be advisable . I’m almost 69 and I’m not as sharp as I was but I did have a stroke . I remember my father in law as a US Attorney at 80 was sharp as a tack Yes! If they’re old enough to collect full ss, they should have to retire and live off the ss. Stop paying politicians for life.

About this Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt

I would say 65 should be the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this cutoff year to get elected. If you win, congrats, you get 4 years. If you dont, get fucked. Also term limits and ban the use of stock markets for congress. Nancy pelosi made 36 million of the decisions congress made in 2016-2020 We shouldn’t ban people from office. Voters should be educated and smart enough not to vote for dinosaurs and bigots. Yeah, it isn’t likely, but that is what democracy looks like. All politicians should be forced to take and pass a constitution test, both state and federal depending on the state they are serving in. And I would push the retirement age to 70. But definitely, there should be a retirement age. Yes. And it’s ridiculous that they would be the ones that have to vote on this becoming a law in America in the first place, so it will likely never happen. What a broken fucking system. Most other developed countries have something like this on the books or added it later. 55 more repliesbe okay with that. But ultimately, we live in a democracy. If people want to vote for these ancient people, it’s up to them. Almost every poll shows that the vast majority of people think the two presidential nominees are too old… yet they are still winning the nomination with flying colors. Make it make sense. no… but all politicians should undergo a trial after every term with death as the only punishment when found guilty of anything… When you’re a little older 65 does not seem so old. It would be a shame to be forced into quitting something that drives you forward when you are still sharp and capable at 65.
Now 75, on the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this other hand, is undeniably elderly and retirement age by any standard. I would not be opposed to considering that. Yes and mandatory term limits ….i don’t give a damn about the guy that goes into politics as a wealthy man…I’m concerned as fuck about the poor man that goes into politics and comes out wealthy Yes. We have age restrictions in this range on military leadership and pilots. Also, at least in the US the median life expectancy is 73-77 based on gender. People may live longer, but statistically a 65 year old will be dead in a decade. They have no business making decisions that you won’t have to live with the consequences of. That might be a bit young. I’d say maybe something like, your last term as a federal elected official has to commence prior to your reaching full Social Security retirement age (currently 67 – just an example for the USA). So like the oldest senators would be retiring by age 72-73 and I think that would be the highest possible age among elected officials.
I’d say Senators maxing out around 73 / Reps at 69 / President at 71 is still pretty old? but a hell of a lot better than presidents hitting their mid 80s or congresspeople pushing 90. I think the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this push for Supreme Court term limits (there are some people in congress pushing for 18 year term limits) makes sense also, and along with that, a retirement cap around 70 as well. We should do 12 monthly stints where a group of random people are chosen from the various industries and then organised appropriatly depending on their skills and senority to represent their industries interests for that amount of times. Don’t allow the stagnation and corruption of these old institutions to take root. Keep the policy fresh and focused on what is best for the everyday person. At 78-82 years old you probably dont have a clear idea of the modern struggles or even know the price of a gallon of milk.
No. Maybe 70, or can’t start a new term after 65 or 70. They’re not going to endure the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this consequences of their decisions at that age, it’ll be the younger ones, so why give them all the power? Wait WHAT? FUCK NO! 50 AT THE FUCKING LATEST! No one should be allowed to be a politician after the age of 40 in my opinion but 50 at the absolute oldest! No, I think age based restrictions would be a mistake, especially as medicine advances and people are going to live longer and healthier I don’t wanna sound elitist but I think The average federal politician has been pampered enough that serving health wise with mental acuity that mandatory retirement at 75 sounds reasonable. Given that a significant number of politicians aren’t in office until midstream or culmination of an outside career, it would seem like the best way to get the most benefit from their experience. However, term limits might make the discussion moot.
These greedy fucks only want to keep their jobs by any means necessary, and not do their intended job- which is to serve the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this citizens who voted them in. No, a 70 year old can do a good job as a politician. The problem is voters not paying attention to who they’re voting for. No. People should choose the best candidate. They should have to get regular checks. If something happens while they are in office like they start having memory loss, there should be a removal process. Plus if they put a limit on age they will have to keep changing it. People live longer and medicine and technology is improving. A lot of people are working beyond 65 now because they enjoy working. 65 is too young, and we would miss out on the theoretical wisdom we desperately need in this country right now. I think term limits, generous though like 20 or 30 years and maybe an age limit of 75 or so.
I would put the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this mandatory retirement age at 70 because that’s the age that people can claim their max social security benefit and work a second job without being taxed
It’s highly linked with neurodevelopmental disorders like autism. Basically it’s when there’s severe food restrictions that isn’t due to a desire for thinness like anorexia, so it’s a diagnosis of exclusion. My son, (4) has this due to Autism. It’s tough for him and he is definitely smaller than he should be. The worry about his future can be unbearable.. My son is also 4 and autistic and extremely picky. Will only eat a certain type of Mac and cheese, two specific toddler shakes, and peanut butter sandwiches. Has refused any kind of animal protein his entire life and won’t touch any fruit or vegetable I’m guessing this is why the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this screening questions at the pediatrician include ones about picky eating or eating a variety of foods.
Hi I’m 33 and just realized I had very obvious autism like 6 months ago. I’ve had ARFID forever, no one seems to even know what it is, my parents, trying their best, certainly didn’t. Getting help for it as an adult is neigh impossible and with a litany of GI issues(no gluten/dairy/garlic etc)I spend a lot of my time just worrying about what I have to eat next and how I can convince myself to eat anything and what will make me the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this least sick. Turns out most people don’t really understand or give a shit when they find out, same reaction when they learn I struggle mightily to gain and keep on weight. It was awful to live with, a constant source of shame, embarrassment and anxiety. I wanted to eat like a normal child but I just couldn’t force myself. It didn’t matter that I objectively knew something was ‘food’ it might as well have been literal poop on my plate. Imagine sitting there with a pile of poop in front of you, with everyone telling you it’s ok to eat, they really enjoy eating it… it’s still poop, it still smells and tastes awful, it still makes you gag and vomit when you try to put it in your mouth.
I spent my life worrying about food, about whether there would be something safe for me to eat, about whether people would notice my strange eating habits and whether they would comment or make digs. When I went to uni I was able to experiment a bit more with food and slowly expanded my diet. I still have huge sensory avoidance to certain textures, I’m still discovering new safe foods in my 30s. I have to be careful not to overeat now, I have a tendency to eat until I feel sick because there was so much emphasis and encouragement to keep eating as a child. I’m a very textural eater. I had a babysitter that made us eat an entire plate full every time and there were several meals that I ended up vomiting up. Fatty food with gristle was the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this worst. Really screwed my taste pallete up for some time. He’ll, I still struggle some. But, I force myself out of my comfort zone and have been able to find many more kinds of food I like. The solution, in my case amd of you can call it that, was forcing myself to slowly retry foods I once didn’t like as well as new foods.
I’ve got a similar texture issue, the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this best way I’ve found to be able to try new foods is ironically peer pressure. However it’s peer pressure from people I totally trust and know they won’t judge me. Thank you for sharing. The hardest part about growing up with ARFID was not being believed by friends, family etc. As an adult I can explain that the food in front of me was simply not food in my eyes (I use a sponge metaphor instead of poop haha!) but as a child I was simply labelled a picky brat. As I child I could eat meat with no visible fat (never ground or processed) white bread and butter or toast (no crust), grated cheddar cheese, most crisps and processed snacky things, chocolate etc. chips/fries and the only fruit/veg I could manage was apple. I still cannot manage the texture of potato that’s not crispy. So chips and roast potatoes are fine, mash, jackets and new potatoes are out.
Ohhh, my 10 year old has this and I’m so curious about your experience and insights! Even before our diagnosis, I had learned a lot from listening to people who underwent things like ABA therapy and how profoundly harmful it is to manipulate people in to socially acceptable compliance. My approach has just been to provide a plethora of safe foods and gentle offerings of things that are safe food adjacent. We make sure that there will be food she is able to eat when we are in social settings, without making it a big deal, and generally try to treat it like you would any other person with a serious food allergy. That said, I also can’t shake the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this fears that we are failing her. She is very thin, and her friends seem to be approaching puberty at a quicker rate so I have some concerns. I’m not sure how to find the balance between respecting her autonomy, and ensuring that she is getting nutrients she needs for long term health.
If you don’t mind, i would be so grateful to know what you wish people had done differently for you growing up, how you would weigh nutritional needs vs. mental health, and if you have experienced any long term health consequences. Are there any additional supports you would recommend? My daughter does work with a therapist for more general issues, but I’m wondering if there is more we should be doing… and how to avoid specialists who use abuse to “cure” kids. I’ve had ARFID since I was a kid. I’m thin, but I’m still in the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this range of a normal BMI. I have ADHD and grew up with an ADHD mom back before girls and women were diagnosed. I really appreciate the fact that she never made me eat anything. She’d make it seem exciting to try new foods, but wouldn’t be mad if I didn’t like what I tried. I think it led to me having a wider range of “safe” foods. I still like trying new foods – I go into with the attitude that I probably won’t like it, because I don’t like most foods, but if I find something new I like it’ll be so awesome to have a new option to choose from.
I also notice that my adventurousness is tied with my stress level. When I’m super stressed there’s only a few things I can make myself eat, but if I’m feeling relatively low-stress I’m more likely to enjoy something new. Thanks for these insights! I was diagnosed with adhd last year, and she is on a waitlist for an assessment, but we and her therapist highly suspect ADHD or maybe AuADHD. I’m finding stress levels has a huge impact, so I’m affirmed to hear you say that too. Working with a therapist on some of her other issues around anxiety has helped us get beyond eating just apple cinnamon cheerios and goldfish. She has gotten better about the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this mindset of “the worst thing that will happen is I don’t like it,” that her therapist worked with her on, but it goes out the window when not feeling at peak functioning. We have always approached it very similarly to you. 10 is around the age my son started eating a wider variety of foods.
But, it had to be foods that decided to try. Over the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this last 2 years, his list of safe foods has expanded by a lot. For years, all he wanted to eat was bread products, pizza, French fries, chicken nuggets, cheeseburgers, apples, strawberries, and processed snack foods. Now he also likes to eat grilled chicken breast, rotisserie chicken, steak, pot roast (made with a chuck roast), salmon, sautéed spinach, roasted broccoli, roasted potatoes, oranges, rice, hummus, crispy beef tacos, salsa, smoothies, and several other foods. I know this is not the case for everyone with ARFID- just wanted to share our family’s story. I wish you the very best for your family and daughter! Thanks so much for sharing! This is super inspiring and reassuring! Thinking through the list of things she eats now, compared to where we were even a year ago has me realizing how much progress we have actually made, and how none of it required manipulating or force. She actually grabbed a chicken nugget at dinner the other night and ate it like it was no big deal, and inside I was just thinking “who is this kid?!?”. Umm… it heavily depends on the vitamin, and what vitamins are acceptable frequently changes so it’s not always reliable. She does fairly well with fruit (blueberries, peaches, strawberries, mango, often apples or tangerines), and vegetables (broccoli, potatoes, cucumbers, dried seaweed, baby carrots, alfalfa sprouts), but very little protein (occasionally tofu, French toast, cheese pizza, milk on cereal, or bacon) and the issue is more around an overall lack of calories and frequently saying she is hungry but can’t eat. She was checked out for diabetes or serious medical issues before being diagnosed with AFRID. Vitamin D and E are oil-soluble vitamins she may be lacking, which can come in gummies or very pretty and easy to swallow pearl capsules. Might make a difference even if they are taken infrequently. B vitamins are also important for growth and energy, but the vitamins are usually smelly or taste weird, so Im less optimistic those would ever be viable. (Vitamin water has a pretty good purple drink with several of them though… Great for hangovers too lol)
I honestly buy the Malcolm todd live 2025 the wholesome rockstar tour north America shirt and I love this super sugary cereal because they pump it full of vitamins (especially iron, which is really hard to find in vitamins that taste good). For a long time she lived on cereal and goldfish so it was basically health food around here haha. She does take vitamin D in the winter (summer we spend a lot of time outside), but I hadn’t considered E or B vitamins, so thanks for that suggestion! There are foods that make me retch, like peanut butter. The smell, the texture, the way it looks. Just… no, keep that stuff away from me please. I really struggle to try things in groups. Eating with one or two friends I’d easier. I do like to cook and experiment, and sometimes I’ll try to include ingredients that I have issues with, but I need to feel “in control”. I prefer to cook for you than have others cook for me. It’s sure not the cure for kids with sensory issues. Sensory issues trigger the pain centers in your brain. You can’t think your way around pain. Exposure therapy isn’t going to work either. It’ll just mess you up.
