Confirmation bias. On both sides of the Make it my mustang shirt besides I will buy this spectrum, those channels only produce things those sides want to hear. Probably not what they need to hear though. This is the result of having multiple news channels that are on all the time. It’s let to fabricating shit to fill air time. One of the bigger reasons, is that its the most accessible for millions of Americans. Mostly rural americans, who either cant get or have limited access to the internet. I really don’t know. People like to get riled up. I’m not immune to it but I don’t let politics get to me. My parents are super into Fox News and it just makes them mad, yet they continue watching it even though it’s blatantly opinionated. Sometimes it can be “true” but it’s always presented in a way that’s inflammatory, on both stations. It’s a sham and an embarrassment to our country.

Firsthand, we had someone from AP News come and do a report on the Make it my mustang shirt besides I will buy this covid stuff at our small town hospital. Everything seemed to have gone fine. They then published the article online and it was BLATANTLY false and painted this horrific picture of working conditions, when it wasn’t the case at all. It was then that sealed the deal, I take any major new’s article’s with a grain of salt unless they provide detailed sources. Which is surprisingly nonexistent, seeming as how that’s a cornerstone of Research Writing 101. People get really entrenched in their bias and then get addicted to being told what they’ve already established as “truth”. They get a dopamine hit that comes with confirmation bias which turns into a negative feedback loop, and it’s hard to detach from.
