I recently, about a week ago, moved to Japan, and it’s just what we do here. Haven’t gotten covid yet (knock on wood) and I feel like a lot of that is because I’ve been so careful about masking and not eating indoors. I live in NYC, and the masks are no longer required in schools (I work part time in one), and it’s about 40% unmasked in trains and stores. I kind of mostly wear ones indoors now IF I think not doing so might make someone else really uncomfortable.
