This is not the Made In 2020 3 Years Of Being Awesome 3 Year Old 3rd Birthday Stars Tye Die T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this first time that Bassett has caused controversy. In October last year, she apologised after she referred to a Black reporter’s “grandmammy” on air. Hmm, what’s more likely in this case? (A) The left went on some twitter campaign to get her fired? (B) She was already on thin ice saying stupid crap on air and did it again, so bosses were fed up? Also, when the internet heard about this she was already let go. The left is so woke they can protest against the linear flow of time. /s I assume you have no idea what you’re even reading with that first complaint because grandmammy is literally a southern word for grandma Not “grandmammy”! She actually said “grandmammy”?! No!!!! What an awful thing to say! I mean, sure it’s unbelievably common for white southerners to say that to their grandmothers, but if you totally ignore that reality, then she was making fun of black people!!! We can’t let the mortal sin of saying “grandmammy” and “nizzle” go unpunished or else Hitler wins! Give me a break, you think an older lady from MS knows what that means? I’d say most people don’t care if someone said it or even knows that. Finally using that brain. So obviously she was fired for some other reason, age probably, and the station is using this incident as a pretext. Doesn’t matter about past problems, just seems like she made it easier to fire her. 29 more repliesYeah, whether the firing was motivated by wanting to appear PC or not, lots of average people view this as “wokeness” and don’t like it.

Nobody average uses woke as a pejorative , just the Made In 2020 3 Years Of Being Awesome 3 Year Old 3rd Birthday Stars Tye Die T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this dim witted Fox News set, and nobody cares what they think, they’ve already proven they are racist, fascist assholes crying and offended at everything different than them. We need to stop catering to these idiots and just ignore them, and vote against them of course Just curious, are you in an urban or rural area? Since moving outside of the city, I’ve noticed that basically everyone sees woke as a negative. And they view a lot of non related stuff as woke. Just my observation. I don’t feel like we can discount that whole population. Not all those people watch Fox News or are fascists. Inevitably when they say woke they are talking about black, gay or trans people, so if they are saying it as a negative they are just bigots. it’s well known rural people have more racist, fascist tendencies because of the propaganda for one, and the mistrust of the “other” because they have limited life experiences, so take the worst stories about a group and make it sound like they are all that way. If it’s not news they are consuming right wing radio making them parrot that stuff. The more accepting and intelligent people are going to gravitate towards cities because of those backwards bigoted attitudes. I live rurally, but in a liberal area, I grew up in one of those horrible backwoods redneck counties and can’t stand it there. I only have accepting friends that are woke, because being woke just means you accept people different from yourself, and that’s just basic human decency. Who would rather be asleep?
