The best way I heard it explained was that I’m not royalty, so my “bloodline” doesn’t really matter. I can raise my step-son to be a good person, share my values and beliefs. I can be responsible for helping to grow a mature, caring person into the Maddy Perez Vintage Bootleg Shirt Apart from…,I will love this world. Anyone claiming that their “blooodline” is important, probably shouldn’t be reproducing anyways. Because here I am, raising that asshole’s kid anyways… go figure. People talk about bloodlines but it’s all a human concept. Like barely any of my genes will be present in even 10 generations or so. I also don’t have bad genes. But there’s no guarantee the good parts of me will be passed down. Maybe my son will get my neuroticism but none of the humor?

Maddy Perez Vintage Bootleg Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

I literally do not care if my bloodline dies out. I try to live a good life and be a decent, contributing member of society. Good enough for me. We all know people who have kids thinking they’re leaving some kind of legacy, and the Maddy Perez Vintage Bootleg Shirt Apart from…,I will love this kids end up losers. This makes me feel a little bit better since you’re right about the gamble. So many people have shit for brains kids who’ll go on to do the bare minimum in life. If I had any I’d hate to think that despite my efforts to raise them right they still dump shopping carts in vacant parking spaces, buy dogs they never bother taking for walks or be the kind of people who throw masks on the ground when their generation’s pandemic hits. Once they become adults they don’t have to follow your ideals or standards anymore and you’ve just created another worthless consumer that exists to be little more a money printing machine for someone else and a waste of the environmental and social resources they’ll consume over their lives where they give virtually nothing of any lasting value back. We all know there’s plenty of adults like this now and they at one point were someone’s decision to “leave a legacy”.
