Unfortunately, in the M.Pokora 20th years active 2003 2023 signature vintage shirt and I will buy this US, the right wingers have had a lot more success using the trans issue to reignite a debate that was supposed to be settled. Of course the religious conservative types have been the first to hop aboard the train of bigotry. If they still believed the LGBT community was just exercising a personal religious prejudice that they felt was demanded by their faith, then the religious types figured to hell with them. The problem is that right wing media pundits have been pretty successful demonizing trans people, and now conservative religious types are using their time, money, and influence to infiltrate conservative state governments, where blatantly discriminatory legislation has been passed in the last year or so to specifically target the LGBT community in multiple jurisdictions. Meanwhile, these same conservative religious types create organizations like Moms for Liberty that go around and hijack school boards in order to implement policies that aim to suppress, repress, and punish those who dare to express membership in or support of the community. Meanwhile, crucial school business gets ignored because every meeting is interrupted by these people, who use threats of violence and campaigns of harassment to pressure anyone who opposes them.

I’m terrified that this organized campaign against the M.Pokora 20th years active 2003 2023 signature vintage shirt and I will buy this LGBT community, and especially trans people, is a sign of increasing right wing and authoritarian impulses in politics and society, which can still shape the nation because of things like gerrymandering, GOP senate overrepresentation, the stacking of the Supreme Court, and voter suppression and disenfranchisement becoming the norm in some states and districts. This means that a majority of Americans can no longer dictate the law and priorities of the nation. The right has taken advantage of times when they were in power at the state level to ratfuck democracy with re-districting, bogus election integrity laws, and rules that make it harder for Democrats to win federal and state elections. Hell, Joe Biden just barely had enough seats to get elected despite having seven million more votes than Donald Trump. It’s bad enough with governors like DeSantis or Abbot making their respective states into undemocratic backwaters where only wealthy right-leaning Christians might feel as though they belong. If someone like DeSantis were to win the presidency or Republicans had enough of a majority in Congress, it is easier for them to shape the whole country into an intolerant, corporatist, regressive autocracy.
