It’s ok to take something if you need it, but don’t stop searching until you find the Lymphoma Cancer Awareness American Flag T-Shirt also I will do this wage you deserve. You’d not owe loyalty to any corporation, as they will not show any to you. I have a friend who lies on his resumes, his employer found out two months after he had the job that he lied on his resume, he never lost the job. When I interviewed with them, they said “oh that must be a mistake, we’ll have to fix it. However, all of our reps make more than doctors.” Employers have lied for years. Workers are under no obligation to have any integrity any longer. Corporations did this. Self employed Electrical Contractor here. I’m on the opposite side of this situation. When I post job descriptions seeking electricians, I state my range that I am willing to pay, based on current licensure, experience, etc.. Nearly EVERY applicant comes at me expecting the high end limit of my range. I usually counter, clarifying that my high limit is reserved for an exceptional candidate with exceptional everything, and point out the areas where they miss that criteria. I negotiate down a bit, get the employees through the onboarding process, and into the field performing electrical work. More often than not, the new employee fails to perform to the abilities that they stated during the interview. Everyone is trying to sell themselves, and talk themselves up so much during an interviee, that in reality they should just be honest about their abilities. They might start at a lower wage, but skills can be learned and wages can be increased. Instead, they exaggerate as if I’m not going to notice or something.

AE is usually a 40-70k base and the Lymphoma Cancer Awareness American Flag T-Shirt also I will do this rest is commission, your “salary”(base) wouldn’t be 100k, your all in comp would be in that range. That usually includes stuff like a phone/car allowance and whatnot. The industry terms are “all in” or “rolled up”. The interviewer would have thought it was weird to ask for all of your comp as a salary, that would be weird in a sales role, I would have probably asked you to clarify also. No, really. I’ve been offered at or above the range (and my expectations) ever since I started my first professional job. Are you guys applying to jobs on craigslist? Are you applying for jobs with lowballing shithole body shops like cybercoders? Seriously where do you find jobs in the 100k advertised range that actually balk at paying whats advertised? There is a lot of shit in this sub that seems like a piece of totally fabricated agitprop, or something that’s written by a moron with no idea how the world works. Sometimes, it’s both.
