You should be proud of yourself for that. Take this as a learning experience though and next job offer like this, weigh the risk of being regretful again. It’s easy to second guess yourself, but there’s a reason I insist on meeting my manager before I start a job — in both instances that the manager was “obscured” from the process (I didn’t meet them, or I wasn’t told they would be my manager) they were just ridiculously terrible people to work for. In both instances, I like the actual work, but working for people you don’t like is a sure path to really dreading life. Completely depends on your situation if you made the right decision. Are you regularly getting interviews and making it far in the rounds? Was this your first hit in months? Are you in a bad spot financially?
