I’m glad there’s more open favorability and dialogue for careers that don’t need a degree like in IT/Tech, Trades, Sales. It’s a lot more common now to be able to earn really good money for IT careers where certifications and hard skills matter way more than having a degree. I have plenty of friends and family who earn a good living and never went to college because they specialized in an in-demand niche like programming or cybersecurity by learning themselves and picking up relevant certs.

I would advise todays students to really be purposeful for their choice to go to college or an alternative specialty.
