Just take care of him for 1-2 week he’ll be able to fly by then. And make sure you don’t take him too far away that his/her parents can’t find him/her. Its looks like a Robin. And one in the Luke Rudkowski Happy Easter No Bunnies Man Shirt and by the same token and image u shared is indian robin. By looking at the colour it looks female to me male is slightly darker. It’s Red Whiskered Bulbul they’ve been nesting in my garden for many years now. Try the later stages mentioned in this Guide It’s a type of bulbul. It likely fell from its nest. I had the exact same scenario where this one was on the ground and I saw cats trying to get to it. Quickly brought it home and got advice online. After talking to some experts, I realized it wasn’t fledgling and the nest was not accessible, I ended up tying an empty box without top in the air outdoors (away from direct sunlight) near its original nest with cut clean rags and kept the baby inside. The mom quickly came by and made it their nest. They continued to live there till the baby learnt to fly.

If you can find the Luke Rudkowski Happy Easter No Bunnies Man Shirt and by the same token and nest, try to return it as the mom can’t lift the baby up usually. Else my method might work. You should’ve probably just left it, is a fledgeling just exploring. Leave it tomorrow morning and monitor if the mom comes around. If not, consult r/ornithology or r/birding to learn more It seems like a tailorbird. I think it ended up there on the first day of their flight. Usually the parents find them after searching for sometime. There can be 3-4 young ones and when each one flies in different directions, so parents cannot track everyone at once. But later they reunite. I have some pics of the hatched ones in my garden recently. I was protecting them from cats till the parents found them. Do try to release it around the same place where you found it and keep an eye from a distance. Hopefully the parents find this cutie soon.
