Lol. This dissonance is why the LSU Tigers Vs Mississippi State Game Day Starkville MS Sept 16 2023 Shirt Besides,I will do this “sheep masses” tell you to fuck off and come up with something pragmatic. Keep your head in the clouds I guess. People actually do want work, they just want work that is meaningful, fulfilling, well paying and actually needed. You are just advocating for a system that is just as destructive and animalistic as the current one, in the long run at least. I mean I do, I would still have hobbies and all, and the hobbies would be fullfilling. I’d love to visit most countries too. And plenty of people play the lottery precisely to have a chance of not having to work ever again. So you dont want to sit idly and do nothing then. Why did you say ‘I do’ and then completely go the opposite direction? I said kinda, I just don’t want to work. Maybe one month I want to sleep and do nothing, next month dedicate myself more to hobbies, next month travel… But the important part is not having the pressure on you of having to work. In a post work society people could choose to do nothing or dedicate themselves to hobbies. What you’re discussing though is a scenario where there just isn’t enough meaningful work to go around. Having a “fulfilling job” would be something of a luxury. Don’t just dismiss it and call it ridiculous or utopian, such a time is probably coming, the question (as always) is when.

The more production per human individual, the LSU Tigers Vs Mississippi State Game Day Starkville MS Sept 16 2023 Shirt Besides,I will do this more consumption per human individual, requiring more workers. If we all consumed as much as an 18th century human, we would already be at a 90% unemployment rate. All tech does is increase production per human. Even a fully automated restaurant is going to require human labor at some point, if that means to clean, troubleshoot, or physically repair it. This will be the boomer meme in 30 years when massive 3D printers are building everything and the construction industry has been reduced to inspectors and supervisors. The massive 3D printers claim is gonna be the meme. Human lives are just way more expendable than that kind of equipment lol. And becoming more expendable I might add. I see it more likely we go back to literal slavery than 3D printers being controlled by AI building every building
