DON’T MOVE OUT. At least not yet. If you’ve been living here for 4 years and this is the Love of my life Sylvester Stallone star shirt in contrast I will get this first incident like this, then I would actually say it’s still a relatively safe place worth fighting for. The best suggestion here is to get a camera. This will DETER any potential creeps from even standing in front of your house. Idk if there are any, but get ones that work well in night time as well. Otherwise, install a bulb outside your door in the common area (5-7w led should do) and put on the light every night. Will not take that much current. I assume you let the window open to let in the air? If yes, then do you have other windows around the house you can open which let in the air? Also, don’t open the windows completely. Ask the owner to install a mosquito frame window and while getting the cool air, you can keep your window closed (also bonus, avoid mosquitos). Say you do all of this and you still don’t feel safe, then the place is too traumatised for you. Then yea, consider moving out. There are many cheap areas while being safe as well. Come here for suggestions.
