If I try to restrain the Love of my life Russell Crowe shirt in contrast I will get this sneeze it redirects all of the air through my nose and launches boogers. Less embarrassing to just accept that a loud ass sneeze is going to happen and let it rip I watched some information type video once and they said that the noises you make sneezing is learned and sneezing doesn’t cause a noise except for the air escaping type noise For me it happened within a couple years of becoming a dad. Right around the same time as it sounding like a trumpet when I blow my nose. Around age 29 (kids were 5 and 2) I put it down to maturing of the voice box and developing a certain hoarseness. I’ll take deeper breaths pre-sneeze and I also don’t even bother fighting it, thus the sneeze penetrates every child’s deepest boogeyman fears in the form of a large random sudden yell at roughly over 9000DB mostly twice in a row.

Weirdly once my kids could sleep through a big one, they morphed into volcanic eruptions. So about a year into fatherhood. My sneezes are normal but have become louder after my daughter reached her teenage years, it is funny she doesn’t seem to like it. Yeah mine were loud before becoming a dad. I don’t feel satisfied if I don’t give it absolutely everything I’ve got. It feels like I still need to sneeze if I hold back at all It’s simple really, I hold in all my anger and frustration of having two teenage daughters and release all my rage and fury in my sneezes. A lot of people think I just sneezed when I do a quick cough into my elbow and that’s extremely quiet in comparison. My neighbour would hear me without a doubt. I just saw memes about it so when we had our daughter I started to do it on purpose. My wife was like ‘wtf why you sneezing so loud’ and I just told her it was my duty as a father. I’m not a father but my sneezes are quite loud. I presume that I will retain this Love of my life Russell Crowe shirt in contrast I will get this sneeze-loudness if/when I have children. They are loud simply because a lot of air moves quickly out of my lungs and through my vocal-chords and face-holes in short amount of time.
