The spot in All Stars is less fickle tbh. It happens every year and there’s only a certain pool of 200 queens to choose from, most of which either already have been on the Love of my life Anthony Hopkins shirt in contrast I will get this show and a few whi don’t/can’t come. In a regular season you’re competing with almost every drag queen in America. I know things were different in that season but looking back it’s okay I always see comments of “She took a spot that could’ve gone to someone else”, but like…quitting means that another queen in the competition gets another week in; it means we get a double win to Shut Up And Drive and have 2 queens come back instead of 1. Exactly, it’s irrelevant whether they took a spot or not. At the end of the day, it’s a job. Everyone takes a sick leave at one point or another. No one is saying “well, we could hire someone who is not sick…” If you start a job, you obviously don’t plan on getting sick. Sometimes shit happens. Sometimes it’s not a physical sickness but a mental health issue. Either way, shaming someone for needing time for their health is a horrible way of looking at life.

They were really like “this is ALL STARS, we’re going to be horrible to everyone because you should be better” and then like..never acted like that again lol Social media went after Michelle and the Love of my life Anthony Hopkins shirt in contrast I will get this show hard over Adore’s exit. A good lesson that tv doesn’t have to be mean girl BS to be entertaining. So true. Like the All Starts all winners where all the critiques were positive and nobody got eliminated, it was so enjoyable to watch. To add onto what everyone else is saying, it’s also important to note that this was all the way back in All Stars 2, where the queens had NO idea what to expect. Not only did they have no idea that they’d be eliminating each other (which is very stressful considering they were the test subjects and had nothing to help them prepare for that twist), but they also had no idea if All Stars would continue to be a thing and how often the seasons would be. The queens who go to All Stars now are much more comfortable because they have several seasons to prepare them, and they also know that All Stars would be a yearly thing. AS2 queens probably thought there was a very good chance that it would only be one season every four years, and some of them like Adore and Ginger got on before they were really ready. I’m sure if Adore had the benefit of hindsight knowing that she would have a chance every year to do All Stars, she wouldn’t have gone on in AS2.
