That always gets me. I laughed my ass off last night when I was checking the Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Warhol shirt moreover I love this price of Diablo 4, and the €99.99 Ultimate Edition is labelled as “BEST VALUE!” HOW is it the best value? In what fucking universe? A battle-pass for shit that isn’t even out yet, two cosmetics and a shitty emote? what amazing deals! I’m sure they do because the 1:100 ratio is established as a base. So if you had 100 individual $1 transactions you’d use get 10000. Better spend the $100 all at once and get that bonus or you miss out. I’m sure it gets the people who think, “I’m gonna but something with it at some point.” Such bullshit. Today, you get people defending microtransactions. “Don’t be poor nerd” or “They gotta make money you know” and I’ve heard so much more than that crap.

I can’t believe we went from games doing everything in their power to try to be like: Look at all the Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Warhol shirt moreover I love this value in the game! We got extra character skins, tons of ways to play and even cheats! Now that’s all monetized and the value is “Yeah, buy the $70 if you’re a cheap dipshit, but give us $100 and you’ll get some cheat DLC and a costume or two- also in game ads to advertise MORE costumes you can buy!” I’m so tired of the argument that “they gotta make money”. For what? So that the game can be live service? So that they cut 50% of the game before release and put it all into stupid seasons? I’m not saying this is going to happen with D4, but that’s pretty much every single live service game out there so I would be very surprised if Diablo turned out differently I never fucking asked for my diablo games to be lIvE sErViCe. I have other games to play. Give me the best game you have at release. Let me play it for a while. Then they can release a proper expansion a year later and I’ll come back to the game for a bit.
