I have a water only Yeti. I fill it with ice water in the Los Penguins Shirt besides I will buy this morning and refill with water as needed. When I wake up the next morning I usually chug what’s left and it’s always still nice and cold and not stale tasting. I drink out of plastic water bottles. After the next day, if one isn’t finished, I toss it. Open container I drink right away, so it’s not left out. i have cats who get really greedy if you forget to feed them. we have to get a new glass every morning because the cats will just drink out of them and possibly spread stuff like salmonella. I used to always pop a compact disc case on top of my drinking glass, to keep the dust and bugs out, but CDs are out of fashion so now it’s an old tin of chocolates. (I ate the chocolates tho)

Los Penguins Shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

Contrary to popular belief, a small pool of exposed stagnant tap water that’s been sitting for a while most certainly CAN make you sick. Not likely, but the Los Penguins Shirt besides I will buy this longer it is exposed and stagnant, the more likely it is to be “contaminated” by something more hostile than just dust or dirt. The second you put your mouth on that cup, you’ve already contaminated it. It will grow a slimy film after a day or two at room temperature. So answer is within that day. When we came back yesterday I drank out of it and my wife told me, wasn’t that there since we left? However it didn’t taste any different. It was all good and no bad aftertaste either It’s because water is actually really soluble. So absorbs the air, and it changes the flavor of it. It’s also beem stagnant for a while, and still water is all that’s needed for stuff to grow. You cant see it, but you can taste it. Yes it goes bad . I remember when i was like 11 , i drank from a bottle of watter with no cap on . It tasted like what a millepede smells . I spilled is as fast as i drank it then vomited for 30 minutes I always leave my water out for at least a day for the chlorine to dissipate from it. Of course it’s in a covered water pitcher. Stagnant water does go bad. If you let it sit out for long periods of time, bacteria and other such nasties get in there and make no so drinkable. Hence the bad taste of stagnant water.
