YES. Even their more “simple” packaging looks so cheap. I only get their lip injection gloss, but for $29, it shouldn’t feel like a $2 Walmart experience intended for a preteen. Really? I had some of their eyeshadow palettes but the fallout was AWFUL and they had a bad “cheap makeup” odor. Literally all of them vintage makeup is so beautiful looking idk how we got here. The beautiful cases that you could buy and then you could just buy the refill powder or refill lipstick. We gotta bring that back Fr I’m tired of the cheap plastic packaging Totally true. I know there’s one brand (forgot the name) that still does compact refills but they’re not that popular and don’t have a wide shade range. I wish they’d become popular again Could you perhaps be thinking of Bésame? They do beautiful vintage inspired makeup and refills (but can be pretty pricy) There are a few brands that still do refillable lipsticks. Guerlain, Dior, Paul & Joe, and Fenty have lines that are refillable, but the case is still plastic for Dior and Paul & Joe, not sure about Fenty. The Guerlain cases are metal, include a mirror, and are quite heavy. I got a Guerlain refillable lipstick as a Christmas present a couple years back; it’s so pretty and it even has a mirror but it’s still very minimalist in design, unlike vintage pieces which usually were more ornate. Ngl I prefer that. The Guerlain lipstick case, cute though it is, is quite heavy despite the simple design.

I agree but I love it. Sometimes I just want cute animal crossing makeup or barbie makeup or powerpuff girls lol. Came to mind first too. I just can’t bring myself to hate on Colourpop. I’m a neutrals/shimmer girly and I keep buying these higher end palettes that piss me off because they’re not as good as CP. In fact I’m steeling myself for disappointment tomorrow since my Makeup by Mario arrived yesterday I love my Kylie higlighter but the Los Angeles Rams If My Loyalty Offends Your Your Lack Of Taste Offends Me Shirt and I will buy this pink plastic packaging feels like something me and my Barbies played with when I was a kid. I like pink but I still prefer the old black and metal bullet lipstick tubes. The pigment was so amazing, I’m afraid to try the new clean formula. I didn’t mean specifically you, I know your comment was the one I replied to, but in general in these comments I feel like everyone is so boring. This is a little off topic, but does anyone else miss Cliniques old green packaging? Like their powders, eye shadows, maybe even lipsticks. It was a unique color, I don’t know why they had to make the whole line silver. Sounds silly but I’d honestly buy more from them out of nostalgia if they kept it. Clinique was the first makeup I ever used. My mom gave me the pieces from the gifts that she didn’t use. I still remember the packaging on the “new clover” blush shade Edit- just got curious and found they do have the blush in the green packaging. But that was the only product I saw! Don’t think I’ve even seen it in stores. It used to be on alot more products I miss the green packaging, the bamboo pink lipstick, and most of all, the blackened taupe eyeliner. I cannot find an eyeliner that I like as much as their discontinued blackened taupe anywhere. I was so heartbroken the day they discontinued that shade that I haven’t bought anything else from them since.
