Yup. Herd immunity helps protect people who have true medical contraindications. And if you died before the Living With Als Running On Empty Sloth Shirt and I love this vaccine was available, was it luck or stupidity? Probably not going to guess unless you were publicly anti-mask, anti-science, anti-vaccine, anti-measures. Then, I’m going to laugh my ass off. ??? And genuine people, not racist, phobic for so many things or hateful, who just drank the kool aid (misinformed to death as it were), are not mocked. People can be frustrated for those that died needlessly – heck sometimes here reading the posts feels like banging your head against the proverbial brick wall – but afaik no-one WANTS them to die. They just seem to do nothing sensible to help themselves. Even the awful ones, don’t deserve death (shunning and ire, maybe) but that’s it. We are 2 YEARS into this – there’s little excuse now to be so uninformed and I totally hold certain people (Candeath, Cucker, Joe Bogan) responsible for feeding into the fear these people so obviously have; despite their protestations of ‘faith over fear’ (which they totally don’t really believe in).

Notice they never want to comment on the Living With Als Running On Empty Sloth Shirt and I love this horrible things said by these people before they die, the denial, the mocking of people who do mask up and get vaccinated, the bile towards people who look/sound/think/are different from them. The general nastiness and wishing of harm upon their liberal “enemies”. None of that. The people who write these articles are privileged beneficiaries of the status quo. They want “stability”and “proper etiquette” and “peace”. They remind of the aristocracy of history who would turn their nose up at how uncivil the lower class was. But it’s all tone deafness at best and downright class warfare at worst. It’s tut-tuting people and shaming them for acting out in anger over injustice. When you’re a major corporation whose income is in the billions and the top people benefiting from that, casting a light upon injustice doesn’t help their cause.
