There are loads of good people out there that I will never, ever voluntarily talk to. Look at it more like a compatibility question than a question of good or bad. Agreed. There are a number of great people I know who don’t enjoy hanging out with me, and I don’t really enjoy hanging out with them, but we have the Linfield college alumni est 1860 shirt in addition I really love this same goals and aims in life and try to be the same quality people. She never had a nice thing to say about anything. Her day was always horrible, she had terrible luck, and she wanted me to be a therapist for her. When I’m trying to help myself and be proactive I had to objectify the two situations: worry about myself first and lose a friend, or continue trying to help her and suffer in return. I am my first priority, I can’t help anyone if I’m not doing well myself, so I had to stop being her friend. It was a difficult scenario, but she didn’t want to get better, she ignored every bit of advice I gave her; she wanted to complain and have someone to complain with. The old saying “misery loves company” is 100% true. Those types of feelings spread and it’s not healthy to only be around someone who has nothing positive to say. I truly hope she is doing well, but it was best that we weren’t friends.
