I know it might be corny or too ‘out there’ but my whole perspective on death completely relaxed when I heard something like ‘you’ve already done it’, like before you were born you either didn’t exist or you don’t remember it as anything negative. No reason to think the Lindsey Scott Jr NI A Threads shirt and I love this state of death is anything different. The moment of death is still rough lol but existence-wise? been there done that I think the best you can do is learn how to be at peace with yourself and life, and learn to live in the present. When you learn how to do these things, most fears become powerless, and you just enjoy now without worrying about the future and things out of your control I was afraid of death but now I’m more ..mad at it. Death is a cheat and a thief, but only the living mourn the dead. I lost my first husband very early, he was only 27. This sort of made me look forward to it even though I hope it’s far away..because there is a hope that we will see the ones closest to our souls again. I lost my dog last month, that didn’t hurt as much as losing my human best friend. Still though that grief was as big as ever, i had to put my best boy to sleep. Early in life I’ve been shown how death steals our loved ones, but their mission was accomplished. God decided it was time and they are in spirit form, still with me. So no not so much afraid of death anymore, it’s just the big eternal sleep, no more pain, no more hunger, no more sickness, no more addiction. They were miserable but now they are free. My job now is to keep their memory and live life because that’s all there is! Just enjoy life and keep at the pursuit of happiness.

Things happen as you age – friends and family die, your skills and mental acuity decline, technology and society grow and change too much, and you constantly deal with stress, challenges, heartache, setbacks, conflicts, etc. You’re eventually exhausted and you just surrender. My feeling about it is that fearing death just pulls you out of life… it’s totally unavoidable, and all being afraid of it is going to do is steal time and attention from time better spent living.
