Never had to do that actually. After a while of me ignoring it’s bullshit it seems to have recalibrate on its own. The other day I came up to a closed intersection due to construction. 10-mile detour on a $1 per mile order I only took to bring me back to my zone. Hills? Unless there’s a driveway, it’s unlikely you can turn around. Mountains? Ain’t never gonna happen. Highway? There isn’t always an overpass to turn around with. I live in San francisco, and the last exit before the bay bridge leads to a populated part of downtown. However, there are literally like 7 lanes of traffic, and if you aren’t in the right lane >1.5 miles in advance, it can be impossible at times to get over to that right lane for the exit. If you miss that exit, your only option is to drive several miles until treasure island and loop around. During rush hour, this could end up equating to a 50 minute detour.

Probably a freeway or highway they can’t turn on or something.. I did this once while dashing, pulled out of restaurant and went into right lane because I had to turn right soon, but wait a second, this lane only goes to an exit to a freeway??
