Sex is not the Leveling Up To Husband Leveling Up To Husband Vintage Gaming T-Shirt besides I will buy this same as gender, and accordingly there isn’t really a “sex change” surgery. Sex is an entirely biological property, and the closest we can do to “change” someone’s sex is hormone therapy. Surgeries only align someone’s body to look more like their gender, and as such are often called gender reassignment surgery, gender reaffirming, gender confirmation, etc. So, “sex change” is pretty archaic terminology, and either way this procedure is very, very rarely done on children under 17. Some, very few, and often upsetting many neighboring doctors. Like I’m talking a few hundred a year at most before shit went down. Usually what would happen if a child who is just starting/about to start going through puberty, tells their parents that theyre trans is the parents (assuming their supportive) will help the child buy some clothes that make them feel like whatever gender they identify with, and hopwfully talk to their doctor and start taking puberty blockers. These meds do exactly what they say, they put a hold on puberty to let the person figure out if they really are trans or not, without having to go through the potentially extremely upsetting process of puberty. (If a trans-woman aka: born as a male, wants to transition to woman, was trying to transition but suddenly started growing a ton of body/facial hair; and their voice dropped several octaves it would be extremely upsetting. And impossible to bring the voice back to how it was before puberty)

It’s amazing the Leveling Up To Husband Leveling Up To Husband Vintage Gaming T-Shirt besides I will buy this outrage people have about transfolk getting the surgeries they need vs the insane and damaging genital mutilation surgeries that happen every day in this country, but yeah, hey, this is the outrage of the day. Most of these reference likely refer to Jazz Jennings because it was a “reality” TV show and was easy to clip. ChatGPT told me Jazz received hormone blockers at age 11. Wikipedia said she was scheduled for bottom surgery a few months before her 18th birthday. No idea if you consider someone 17.7 years old to be a child or not, and what you consider “transitioning”. But I think it’s safe to say that there are not millions of kindergartners getting surgery. Also, children can’t just walk into a doctors office and get surgery, let alone sex changing surgery. There seems to be a lot of conservative pearl clutching and outright lies that seem to be painting a picture of doctors just letting 16-year olds walk into their office and get surgery. Until the person is 18, they would still need a parent or guardian with them to have surgery done. As many other people have already mentioned, there are also a huge number of other steps taken first before surgery is ever discussed.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
