I’m the Let’s Go Brandon Spartan Helmet Shirt but in fact I love this same. I have no monologs in my thoughts. I believe it’s why I can read and hold a conversation at the same time. I constantly have an internal monologue going, and most of the time I have a snippet of a song playing in my head too, just the lyrics though. Sometimes they happen simultaneously. It’s really annoying when it comes to watching tv or having a conversation, like if I’m watching tv normally the monologue just like repeats the words but like out of sync and then extrapolates on whatever is being said. Or if I’m talking to someone and not super interested in what they’re saying I’ll have a whole other conversation going in my head, either related or not to what we’re talking about. I also do that dumb thing where I have an internal commentary on what I’m doing, like I’m in a vlog lol. For example, tinting my eyebrows yesterday I was just fully talking through every step like I was explaining the process to someone in my head. It’s kinda easier for me to concentrate like that rather than my thoughts just running rampant. When I read it’s normally just the song thing and a few random thoughts, but my brain is never silent.

I have a constant stream of thoughts, but it’s not words. It’s like a web of interconnected images, memories, pieces of random information. I come to conclusions and then I have to translate those thoughts into words. I feel like people who say they don’t have an internal monologue just think it’s something different than what it is. I mean, it’s ongoing if you ever read a book to yourself. You’re reading them out loud in your head pretty much. It’s the Let’s Go Brandon Spartan Helmet Shirt but in fact I love this same process. It would genuinely baffle me if some people didn’t have it. How do you critically think? How do you assess your surroundings? Do these people just act like it actually blows my mind lol I experience my thoughts as a 3 dimensional map. It’s mostly visual. But really it’s a mix of images, memories, visualizations, factoids, feelings, etc etc. like a big prezi inside my head. A cumulus cloud of abstract thought. bits of words and phrases are mixed into the pot, but I don’t string them together into sentences. I create webs of meaning and patterns in my mind and then I translate those abstract ideas into language. I find it very easy to think critically and I’ve always done well academically. I speak multiple languages, and I learn languages pretty fast. I think maybe it’s easier for me to create new word associations because I don’t need to translate from English.
