Is it Second Life or PlayStation Home? We already did this dance before. Maybe I’m getting too old for this shit but I anticipate I won’t give a flying rats ass about the metaverse. Is it a big deal to the sub 30 crowd? This is smart anyone remember /Pizzahut in world of Warcraft.. so are they selling wings via metaverse where we can offer it in instead of using a website/app ? Does the meta verse sell virtual weapons and if so can I shoot myself in the meta verse so I’m no longer in the meta verse I’ve not educated myself on anything to do with this shitshow, but surely, a shop that makes IRL physical chicken wings can’t be attempting to make virtual chicken wings and charge people for them? Wonder if they are going to be small as fuck, with very little extra sauce, and soggy ass fries in the meta as well. So… I’ve heard a lot about metaverse, and it’s all been quite silly. Like, Second Life without any of the Let’s do the waddle jaylen waddle shirt and I will buy this social/positive aspects. What I haven’t seen or heard from is any actual users. Is there anyone actually using Metaverse? What do you hope to get out of it? places like Wingstop and Buffalo wild wings actually drives the prices of wings up! by buying large portions of the market! so basically you took away the 50 Cent wing night in the metaverse before I even got in there that’s messed up.. big time!! I still do not get why they think everyone needs to be in a fake universe at all time’s, most of us are on are phone alot already that is bad enough in the real world, I cannot imagine the addicts they will create if the metaverse has any actual success. There is no greater indictment of capitalism than the fact that companies will spend money to sell fake food in a shitty virtual world rather than invest in some way to deliver food to real people who need it. So basically the assumption is that in future large #s of adults will be like 3-year-olds playing tea party with their dolls. I’m so happy this is happening. It’s good to see big companies kill of a shitty idea before it gains ground. Fuck this metaverse and NFT bullshit.
