We’ve seen first hand with Kevin McCarthy what happens when you give an inch to these extremists. Pushing through some of the Lets All Sing Along And Watch The World Burn shirt and by the same token and promotions me be good in the short term, but could be disastrous in the long term. That’s pretty pointless because, unlike supreme court members, military posts serve at the discretion of the president and he can fire them at any time. Nah man, that’s old school. These days it’s all about having the flimsy veneer of democracy (with a wink and a nudge) to keep the politically disengaged from thinking too hard about the situation they tacitly facilitated. But it is alot different from appointing people to fill vacant positions, versus, firing 100+ top Generals and replacing them all at once.

Lets All Sing Along And Watch The World Burn shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

At this point, it’s on the Lets All Sing Along And Watch The World Burn shirt and by the same token and entire Senate. Call the votes one at a time. They can at least spend their time passing appointments one by one since they can’t pass any legislation anyway. ?? They confirmed a number of high level positions last week. That article literally says they tried to do 61 individually and were only able to get 3 through. And those 3 took 3 days and 6 votes. Project 2025 is terrify to read how it puts a lot of power in the executive branch it is basically the first steps towards a dictatorship and seems Like a way to remove public accountability from the president and to punish political opposition. I think it’s insane how a non profit organisation like the hertitage foundation can demand to make changes to the government that benefits only fundementalist Christian’s and corporate interest it feel the GOP doesnt care about democracy and have made it clear they want an theocratic state like seriously they want to turn America into Colombia from bio shock infinite it feels disturbing with how many Americans don’t see Trump as a con man he is he is like a charicature of everything wrong with America but they ignore that because I fear they too want to indulge in their worst behaviour. The problem i have with the media how it treats both sides as “equal” but normalises extremism in the GOP and doesnt talk about how they dont have any new ideas about running the country and tdying to erode democracy with gerrymandering and facism to cling on to power the media tends to ignore democrats successful policy with post COVID welfare and increased support for unions and taxation on the rich, they constantly belittle Biden accomplishments for helping Americ not go into a recession with bidenomics and focus how trump was better with the economy he wsnt he inherited a stable economy from Obama and ran it into the ground and blamed Biden, sorry for the rant but im not the only one seeing this right.
