There no secret; just do it. I do it to not be fat and to be healthy. It’s part of my routine in the Let freedom ring funny christmas gifts classic shirt but in fact I love this same way as brushing my teeth. Unlike others, I absolutely hate exercising and would not do it if I didn’t have to, but I just do it anyway because it’s good for me. It’s honestly what I look forward to most in the day. I do it to look better, feel better, sleep better. Once you start to see actual progress that’s when it really gets fun. But even before that, it will greatly improve your mood and energy. I do take rest days 1-2 days a week which is important for muscle recovery and growth but I consider it an active rest day – hiking, basketball, swimming, golf, etc. it’s a hobby and a habit that i’ve built since many years ago so even when i don’t really feel like working out i just go because i’m so used to it, also it’s cool because after a long day of work it’s kind of a mental break where i don’t think about anything. Im running my first Marathon this October so that is my biggest motivation to keep going. I also love running anyways so this event will keep me on track.

Just the going… It’s Soo kucb nicer to sit at home lounge play guitar and surf reddit :p I once heard a gymrat say «i work out today, so i may work out tomorrow» In essence i my self work out so that i can live a long and healty life. I work as a trainer for people in any age group and disability. Ive seen 85 year olds run and do weightlifting, and other 85 year olds that needs help to stand. That being said, ive also noticed better cognitive function in elderly that maintain some form of activity. Ironically, my motivation stems from my biggest fear. My biggest fear is that i don’t live life to my fullest potential – physically, spiritually, and financially.
