Keep a key between my index and middle finger, so if anyone tried to attack me, I’d have a way to defend myself If it’s very quiet with no cars about, walk in the Las Vegas Raiders runners parody logo shirt Besides,I will do this middle of the road (not the pavement, the road), and move out of the way if a car comes Be on FaceTime/call with your husband, or a friend – that way any potential attacker knows that someone else knows where you are If you can’t be on FT/a call, there are plenty of YouTube videos where a man speaks, and leaves gaps for you to ‘answer’, like you’re having a conversation with him Sometimes when I super anxious in London alone, I put my debit card or cash with my train ticket in my bra or sock just incase I get mugged, and I can still get home! No headheads, be aware of your surroundings. Try not to have text conversations while walking as a lot of motorcyclists can grab your phone. My friend was recently sexually assaulted by a random man around 8pm just north of Tottenham Court Road station. We were shocked because this is so central but sadly it absolutely can happen. You should absolutely be fine but sadly there are some pieces of shit out there. Whenever my gf is out late I ask her to have her phone and watch’s safety settings on and to call me while she’s walking if she wants to. Central London is generally safer but I’d never take that for granted.

Also, best to survey your path with your husband first around that time of night so that he’s familiar with your journey. And give him a ring throughout your journey after you left your workplace until you reach the Las Vegas Raiders runners parody logo shirt Besides,I will do this station. Last winter, because it got dark early, leaving at 6pm was already felt like a horror movie for me (working in industrial area where there’s less vehicles pass by, just vans and trucks). My phone was at 2% and i brisk-walked to the bus stop (15 minutes away) while chatting on the phone with my friend who was panicking for my safety. My phone eventually died after I got on the bus. I’d avoid having your phone out and therefore effectively proffered to any nearby opportunists. You’ll be picked out for blatant obliviousness. Having a crooked neck looking down at a phone screen as you walk takes you out of situational awareness. Be careful for setups that pry for you to open your phone in front of perps. There are cases where one or two people will approach you, potentially ask for directions or something that requires you to open and use your phone. One will stand looking over your shoulder at the passcode while the other gets ready to grab and dash with it. More generally, get educated on typical mugging setups.
