I asked my mother the Lars Eller Danish professional ice hockey player New Jersey Game Winner T-Shirt Also,I will get this same question about why she forced me to eat (including foods I didn’t particularly like at the time) when I was little. Her answer–she didn’t want me to forego eating meals regularly because of always just wanting to play and expend energy and not refuel. Now…I am always eating something or randomly cooking up a meal to eat because now my appetite is frequently wanting flavors…food is just so goooood. Cursed with not being able to gain fat weight either… No one’s serving there kids adult sized portions. At least I’m not… haven’t seen it in day homes or anything. So not sure where you keep seeing this so often… unless it’s your own kid your doing it to. My mom was forced to clear her plate or she couldn’t leave the table. She never forced me to eat. She would just save my plate and I could reheat it if I wanted. This mentality of clearing plates definitely leads to weight issues.

People are forced to survive the Lars Eller Danish professional ice hockey player New Jersey Game Winner T-Shirt Also,I will get this worst types of Flu and Cold illnesses that exist without any medicine so this isn’t that bad. Oh man I had to shove so much shit down my throat when I was a kid. I’m fucking bursting over here and they want me to finish a plate of fruits From pregnancy the parents are taught that the weight percentile is such an important measure of their infant’s health. They make sure to keep feeding consistently because there’s nothing so shameful as juvenile malnutrition. They just keep on that trajectory permanently I’m 62. I was never forced to eat anything at home or in school. Parents would request that we try one bite, but that was it. I dunno where you live but there’s a thing called kid size meals where I’m from…whoever you know that packs their kids plates with adult size portions and then forces them to eat it all…well let’s just say they’re doing it wrong Mealtime is treated as an opportunity to humiliate and dominate, make up new rules, gaslight about previous situations… and overall turn daily life into an emotional war zone… so the adults can externalize blame for the constant hurt. Forcing your kid to eat something that makes them vomit doesn’t “Count” officially as child abuse, so it makes convenient cover for the same instincts to create drama.
