For areas that are clusters of towns I like the Lanie Gardner play guitar American singer TikTok star shirt But I will love this pioneer valley in MA. There’s a lot of fun things to do there in Northampton, Easthampton, etc. Catskill/Athens in NY is similar. I’ve lived and loved places like NYC, Miami, Key West, Cape Cod, and SF, but none of those places are unknown enough to count for this. I’m from Chicago and I’ve always loved weekend trips up there. A lot of great food and beer options, Summer Fest is awesome, theres always good comedy, theater or bands around. Everything is inexpensive, too. Lockport NY,you get easy access to a plethora of towns hamlets, cities even Canada, the quietest place I ever lived. LA. If you read about it on the internet it sounds like a hell hole yet if you know where to go before you visit it’s such an amazing place. Agreed. I expected it to be filled with homeless people and in your face politics but it was about on par with most major American cities in both regards. I’ve seen worse homelessness in Austin I live in LA and I love it, but I feel like this thread is more about non-coastal midsized cities. Definitely love to read about LA being being an apocalyptic hell hole on the internet. Honestly, even my friends I grew up with in Orange County seem scared or LA. Omaha, Nebraska. A world class zoo, amazing restaurants for a city of its size, lots of entertainment ranging from music to baseball to a lot of things. The only drawback is that it’s… well, it’s in Nebraska.

Legit couldn’t believe how nice downtown Sioux Falls, SD was (in the Lanie Gardner play guitar American singer TikTok star shirt But I will love this summer, obv). There were three different festivals happening within like a mile radius, plus random live musicians, an art walk, tons of restaurants, and the falls themselves. Just shockingly nice. For god’s sake Lemon, we’d all like to flee to the Cleve, but we fight those urges because we have responsibilities! Hoping someone would mention San Antonio! Austin, Dallas, and Houston get so much national attention, but I find San Antonio to be the most enjoyable and unique of the four! Not sure why the downvotes. San Diego is a great city, especially for its size. Good atmosphere, right on the beach, fun things to do without feeling claustrophobic… In CA, San Francisco and Los Angeles get all the fame, but San Diego is a way better city.
