I love being proven wrong. After looking it up it even seems like they have a slightly below average IQ in general Yeah I think this is something people should broadly know. There is too much mythology and fascination with serial killers IMHO. To me they’re just boring pieces of shit who ruin other people’s lives. I think the La Galaxy Beavis And Butt Head shirt and by the same token and lack of empathy on psycopaths and not thinking about consequences may also make them seem more inteligent as they are able to act rationally (atleast some) in very high stress situations where normal people would just completely panic and act very paranoid. Just a tought. “serial killers who are identified as serial killers, and caught, and agreed to have their IQ tested, generally produced scores in the average or slightly above average range.”

The a potential state of the La Galaxy Beavis And Butt Head shirt and by the same token and missing data also makes logical sense and isn’t contradicted by the data: “serial killers who have not been identified or caught may have extremely high IQ.” This isn’t directly indicated in the available data, but it does offer a hypothetical reason for why the serial killers caught are different than the serial killers who have not been caught. We did that. Castle Bravo was over 1000x the size of Little Boy. The Russian Tzar bomba over 3800x and as designed would be nearly 7700x. Theoretical consideration has been given to arbitrarily large nuclear devices with yields up to 10GT or nearly 7.7 million times the yield of Little Boy with theoretical applications for such devices being deflection of an imminent extinction class asteroid impact. Yup, they now use the Hiroshima bomb as a unit of measurement, like “10x powerful than the bomb dropped on hiroshima”, and it’s just a matter of time before one is used again somewhere.
