Almost like the LA Dodgers Hello Kitty MLB Team shirt also I will do this capitalist insurance-based for-profit healthcare in the US is designed to make rich people richer, not to actually make people healthier. I work with specialty drugs for terminal illnesses. They can’t take it back for liability and safety issues. The company will have to send them another but will drag their feet due to cost. If OP actually delivers it though the patient could make the decision if the bottle hasn’t been tampered with to take it and potentially get two for the price of one. I mean, if theyre already on these meds with a short life expectancy, what do they have to lose. Id still take it. Edit: i just want to note, this has actually happened to me! Four years after moving into my house, a cooler was delivered to my house for the old owners. We got into it years before, long story.. about holding their packages & me returning to sender because I’m not a post office..(cops were called) I contacted my neighbors for the old owners to pick it up. I had a hunch it was chemotherapy & it was. Hate them to my core for selling me a house with dog piss soaked carpets & them saying it was my dogs, but didnt want the guy to die. Same, but imagine if granny died and it was found out the pharmacy took medication back and then gave it to her and it had been tampered with. Law suit city. Not even tampered with, could just be stored incorrectly. Maybe it sat in a car outside on a hot day for a few hours. Didn’t stay at refrigerated temp when it needs to be refrigerated. Maybe it was shaken up when it’s not supposed to be shaken. Stored in a bathroom when the medication is sensitive to moisture.

All very true! Especially with some of these specialty drugs that need to be refrigerated for IV use. Tablets-I’d be less concerned with personally. But I also see why it’s regulated-but people get very mad over that sort of thing all the LA Dodgers Hello Kitty MLB Team shirt also I will do this time. If I saw the bottle hadn’t been opened or the packaging I’d risk it if I already had a terminal illness and some company was going to drag their feet about a misplaced package. Yeah my wife was prescribed Humira, but it turned out she wasn’t able to take it, and her Dr. definitely didn’t take it back under the table to hand out to patients who couldn’t afford it because that would be a liability. usually those and other really high-priced meds go through specialty pharmacies only and require signature if being delivered. Even for regular drugs our local pharmacy delivery company/app requires physical handover and signature after a quick validation of name
