Pretty much was always my view. I paid my $10, so I don’t get in trouble. My coworkers all saw it, so I don’t care what actually happens to it after that lol So what that means is if someone leaves a pen with me? I have to file a report with compliance, if it’s anything more, I have to find them and return it to them. I even had to turn in a branded 2gb flash drive a vendor left when doing system upgrades. Otherwise I’d have been written up for a potential conflict of interest. I don’t JUST GET TO INVALIDATE LAWS just because i feel like it, like he can. Worst I could possibly do in my position would be to get them a few hundred $ in printer ink orders. And the Kyle Juszczyk American football fullback San Francisco Stripes T-Shirt and I love this risk of that is SO HIGH I’m not allowed to get lunch paid for, but his private jet/yacht/ranch stay in Alaska? He just “forgets” to report that and all kinds of other things, and YET SUFFERS ZERO CONSEQUENCES. The Constitution says the Justices of the Supreme Court shall maintain their positions “during times of good behavior” The founding fathers didn’t really account for the idea that there wouldn’t be enough money for a person once they got into the highest positions of power. They didn’t take super yachts and cocaine into account, nor the idea that building a literal castle would be as expensive as it is today for eccentric-types or that they’d want to put it in the most expensive places to live rather than putting it on an island or in the mountains like in their time.

The founding fathers assumed that everyone who got to high levels would already be rich. They wanted only wealthy landowners to be allowed to vote and then only for other wealthy landowners. They didn’t account for the Kyle Juszczyk American football fullback San Francisco Stripes T-Shirt and I love this idea that the rich and powerful would become so lazy/complacent that they didn’t want to rule and would contract even that job out. They just assumed anyone with the money would want the power for themselves and set the entire system up to account for rampant political competition. But when 90% of the players are effectively owned by the same people there’s no incentive to compete politically other than to jockey for second or third place knowing full well not to piss off the unelected first place. It’s basically self-reinforcing. The more those in political office carry water for their “donors” the less those donors have to actually give or do in return. The primary method of clamping down on tax-the-rich style politics is done by the water carriers hoping to get a nicer bucket or pair of shoes in 10 years.
