Again, having kids just so you have someone to take care of you when you’re old is a terrible reason to have kids, but having someone to help out as you age is usually a side benefit of having them. I chose to have kids because I wanted kids. I don’t think they have any obligation to help me out when I’m old, but if I do my job right I think they’ll want to. My family says the Kyle Brandt Angry Runs Eagles Dallas Goedert Shirt But I will love this same to me all the time, but I remember too well that my granny, who gave birth to four kids, ended up in care home and died alone. These ppl didn’t take care of their own mum, but always try to put fear in me “if u don’t have kids …” Don’t believe. I spent 8 wonderful years caring for my grandmother (her mom) and that lazy useless bitch couldn’t be bothered to drive 15 miles to visit her own mother on mother’s day. My aunt was always the loud brash one who had a comment or remark for everything, a real holier-than-thou type. They were all very surprised when I showed up to her funeral. Afterwards my mom even expressed her surprise that I was there, right up till I explained to her that the only reason I came was to make sure the miserable bitch was dead.

It took me a long time to get over the Kyle Brandt Angry Runs Eagles Dallas Goedert Shirt But I will love this almost child-like disappointment in my grandmothers face every time I had to tell her my aunt would not be there to see her. My mother has three kids and none of us are taking care of her when she can’t take care of herself. She was a horrible abusive bitch. She’s actually the #1 reason why I decided I was never having kids. But I have a niece and an honorary daughter so hopefully I won’t wind up completely alone when I’m old. “If you’re having kids to have someone to take care of you in your old age, you’re not having kids for the right reason” I’ve thought about this sometimes and there’s a part of me, a part that is probably instinctive and biological, that is like “omg, if I die out, that’s so horrible.” And then there’s another part of me that’s like… some of my genetics are really shit, is it truly any great loss? Maybe what matters more is setting a good example, passing along my values where I can, helping out where I can, and I can do that whether or not I have kids. I mean, there’s no guarantee that if I had kids, they’d turn out believing in what I wanted them to believe in anyway. They might just end up neurotic like me, but with a completely different worldview, one that I’m fighting them on.
