DoorDash drivers reputation is far worse than Uber eats. I did it for a little bit and it was decent profit. Now it seems like it’s not even worth the time, gas, and wear on your car. I did almost 3 hours the other day, made $32. Ridiculous. People don’t tip as much, customer service is useless, etc. I think it’s probably more on the customer side. Customers expect too much and are assholes and don’t want to tip. Sure there are crappy drivers but I’m willing to bet the customers make it harder more often than drivers do. Every fucking time I order ice cream it’s completely melted into a pool because they have multiple deliveries after picking it up. Maybe it’s the driver, maybe it’s the app but goddamn. It’s an easy problem to spot. I have a 4.95 customer rating and a 15% acceptance rating. I go out of my way for customers, I keep a cooler of ice for anything cold and some very nice hot bags to keep it warm.

About a month ago acceptance rating started to matter in my market and my income was cut by around 60%.
