A while ago I somewhat vaguely remember watching an interview with Morgan Freeman and the Kimi Raikkonen 2013 Finnish racing driver who competed T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this interviewer kept asking him if he was happy celebrating some “black” writer’s day or something like that. Morgan Freeman said “no” which surprised the interviewer. Basically, it got to the point where Morgan Freeman said that we should just stop saying “black”, “white” etc. when referring to each other if we want to defeat discrimination. We are all humans. This actually does make sense because if your skin colour is “black” and most of your friends are “black”, you would not say that you were walking to a restaurant with your “black” friends unless you absolutely want everyone to know that your friends are “black” for some odd reason.

In my experience, white people see black as a descriptor because it’s a form of “othering” with white being what they consider the Kimi Raikkonen 2013 Finnish racing driver who competed T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this norm subconsciously. I’m a big white guy, who hangs out with mostly POC of African, middle Eastern and Indian descent(Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, India, and a few Turkish folks I’m aware of that hang out in the back of the bar I frequent). So if you hangout in these circles you know you’re probably not going to know where most of the people are from because none of them are the same color. My homie muudi is from southern Egypt and he’s black as a cat but gerges is from Cairo and he’s almost as light skinned as me on a sunny day. Muudi isn’t an African American. Gerges isn’t African American(yet, he’s trying to get citizenship tho) but Muudi is Black, gerges is tan, you might even call him white if you were slow, he goes by George sometimes.
