Also, can we go back to phones that fit well in pockets? I’m not sure if others feel the Kim k is my lawyer kardashian shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this same, but for me the IPhone 4 was a perfect sized phone. Yes, it had a small screen, but there has to be a way to create something of that size that utilizes less bezel around the screen and optimizes battery life a bit better. I got the new MacBook pro as my work computer, and holy shit does it feel so much better to use than the POS they’d been putting out for years I’ve had my M1 Pro MBP since December now and I still can’t believe how good the battery is on this thing. Coming from an XPS 13 it’s like night and day, and the fans don’t scream all the time, and it doesn’t burn my lap. Partially disagree. Lasting longer is great, but my fear is about running out and not having a charger handy. Make them charge faster. Let me plug in briefly and then feel confident I have enough juice until my next charging opportunity. Being tethered to wires (or dragging chargers with you all day) is the worst.

Title for “thinnest product” sells to non-enthusiest croud…which, unfortunately, is the Kim k is my lawyer kardashian shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this largest customer demographic. I hate, the fact that batteries are sealed in because that’s a hard time limit on your device now- for no reason. People focus so hard on this stupid “premium feel” you wind up with a device that you gotta baby because it’s easy to scratch, easier to break. Yes! A thicker phone is easier to hold…and yeah, battery life for days would be nice! I don’t understand the need to make everything tiny. I don’t care about the battery, give me better thermal performance. Laptops are still so outclassed by their desktop peers. I’d totally kill for a 12,000 mah battery in a phone, eg a battery basically the size of the entire phone, it would make phones so damn much more useful, think of all the gadgets you could fit in a phone like a 50w inverter, the average new 40″ led tv uses like 40w of power, imagine the power went out and you could just plug a TV into your phone and stream to it! Disagree. The never ending quest for thinness and lighness is a key driver for advancing energy density technology. That’s the only thing I look for when I get new phones. The battery size has to have a noticeable increase. Otherwise, I don’t bother.
