On Sunday I was waiting tables during the Kevin Pearce Snowboard Personalities shirt besides I will buy this church crowd rush. Now anyone who has worked that kind of rush knows that, in general, small city church going boomers are not the greatest tippers. I’ve heard, several times, variations of ” if God gets 10% why would I tip more.” I approach a single gentleman, younger than most of the customers, who was sat in my section and did my normal greeting. He says to me ” I don’t need anything, I’m just here to spread love. I know some of my brothers and sisters do not tip appropriately so take this.” He hands me $40 and walks out of the restaurant. Mind you he would have had to wait 30+ minutes to be seated. TLDR I gave someone a $40 reward for a lost dog when I didn’t have to, and the next day a religious customer gave me the same amount as a tip when he hadn’t had so much as a glass of water.

Atheist here as well, at least this guy does the Kevin Pearce Snowboard Personalities shirt besides I will buy this leg work. He said a prayer you’d be blessed with money and fulfilled that prayer himself then and there. If more religious people practiced what they preach like this I think the world might actually end up a better place. Religion is giving you money instead of taking it in the name of a supposedly almighty being? Closest thing you’re gonna get to an actual miracle. wtfff I’ve never heard of someone PAY to give someone else a prayer. If you hadn’t heard him actually bless you, I would’ve sworn he was trying to curse you or some shit. I see where this can go.
